good timing. Going to be hot as SHIT tomorrow. We have 2 soccer games too. I feel bad in the heat coaching, poor boys running have to really be feeling it. My poor son has asthma as well.

Until I replace it.

I know it isnt ideal but it will cost me nothing to own while i search for that.

The Taig is an exception. Sherline the other. The rest are all Sieg's rebranded from China. If he doesnt sell it by Sunday i will buy it.
-
If I can weasel down the price on the taig I may buy it with the goal of using it to learn about what I really want to buy. Figure it will always be worth $500 so if I can grab it for $800 then worst case I am out $300 if I flip. Should even be better than that. For what I need to drill holes in it would suffice, or worst case I can use it to make a jig to then use the hand drill.

I already have enough aluminum scrap to do it...but hate to buy a mill that only works with aluminum, plastic, brass and wood.
-
I am building one of these now: ...and since I don't have a welder I thought of machining the frame out of aluminum. I suppose I could just grab a welder and do it out of steel....but then it is something else to buy.

Captain overboard!!

Problem is that I want a big mill. And then I want a CNC. And then....
-
Guess I will run up to Acme and see what they sell me.

Only 2 in the country. Bellingham WA and Springfield MO

Wasn't at all buying it to be a sander, just don't want a complete POS. Amusing that one Ryan says ok and the other junk. I expected more alignment from the two of you.
-
Lord no. I will use it once every 3 years for something quicker than jigging my belt sander up. Just don't want to not have that be an option.
-
It is used price new. I am willing to buy what is right, but need something. Has to be okay as a drum sander as well.
-
Man overboard!

Looks like it.

Do all the smileys not work now?

Perfect. What isnt? I read a bunch of positive reviews on that. Bench top is highly preferred...

What happens when the box is ported and TOO big?
///M5 replied to slim142's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
The bigger port will work as good if not better, but it will need to be longer to achieve the same tuning. -
I like how you link your diet to Jack's

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/tld/d/12-in-drill-press-with/6629467552.html Cheaper than anywhere else...odd post though. Not sure if that one is "good" enough, lol. Whatever I buy I don't want to want to replace after using it. Need a fence too.

Very open to recommendations

Probably...but when looking for one I always find something better. Has to drill STRAIGHT.
