The biggest problem with the Blues drivers is that their value is about 10% of their price. Your statement on porting the PWX's shows a ton. Pro Audio drivers are designed to be efficient and that includes their enclosure. Pretty much ANY PA driver worth buying is designed for a ported enclosure. I am dubious that the PWX's are, but for the goals of the OP a driver that is in that alignment fits extremely well. And yes, the Blues guys are hiding something by not posting them. Very vanilla drivers at exotic prices. Boo.

The only thing shocking to me is how often this topic pops back up. If you at all spent even 30 seconds searching this site you'd have never bought the DD-1. Proven over and over and over again. There is only ONE purpose the DD-1 serves. And that purpose is to put money in SMD's pocket.

Not really sure what you are asking. Sort of sounds like you are asking if the DD-1 has any value which of course it does not. It is an absolute waste of money and 100% useless.

There are ways to wet clean dry clean only fabrics. We used a special system on drapery and other textiles in F&W resto. Not really. ie, you will do damage to them. The difference between wet & dry cleaning is the fibers absorb water when wet, swell, and then shrink as it evaportates. You can make the process more gentle but on some fibers this is brutal. Mens wool dress pants are a great example. You can dry clean them 1000's of times, wash them and after about 15 washings they will be shot, shrunk to wear they look funny and not hold a press. Damage is easily visible to me with a single washing.

I've had three occurences of near fainting level pain. 1st was reaching for something at the dinner table, 2nd was rolling over in bed, and the 3rd 10 minutes ago sitting on the throne peeing. Feels uber hot, my eyes glaze over and I nearly faint. I am pretty sure I stop breathing it hurts so bad. I will add all three times are at about 5-5:30 hours post Vicadin.
