If you get agitated you sholdn't switch between them. It takes a good 10 shaves with an electric to get your face accustomed to it. After that it should be more gentle on you.
-
I have to come from about 6 directions on my neck with an electric unless I am SUPER diligent. Whenever I go more than 3 days I have to use a blade or I go nuts.
-
Mine isn't so straight either, not quite a hurricane but a sharp blade will get it in a single direction
-
for a phone sure, for a camera no. Of course even a Canon G15 takes poor pictures compared to a real camera.

Anyone try the DD-1?

Here, this will help: http://bit.ly/18nBEVB And yes, serious piece of shit. SMD forum is full of jackhats that don't know anything. Never believe anything you read there. Serious BS. Only reason to visit there is to laugh at it. -
Dumb question Matt. Do you shave up your neck or down? While down gets closer, up is less irritating. All directions isn't always your friend. Sure it is closer, but your chin/stash grow faster anyways or are at least more visible so don't try so hard on the neck.

I itch just thinking about itAll my nicer wools are the most comfortable thing I can wear. Aside from shorts. The cheep ones I got are like pure burning hell. I just bought 4 wool baselayers. Ultratight fit too. No air space. LOVE THEM

They are pre-destroyed. Done before manufacture.

You won't get a healthy 1k out of them, but they are nice and do dig. Start at 1500/24 and carefully step down

If I use something like a mach 3 and go in several directions, I have unacceptable stubble in 1-1.5 days. This all started when I was looking for an after, or preshave oil or balsm that would keep my face feeling better. I have a postshave balsm but it doesn't do shit for the electric razor burn. Having to wear a tie everyday isn't helping. I get to choose to be clean shaven or have a red irritated neck and face. My general inflammation disorder doesn't help I'm sure. Anyway, when looking into a face remedy I came across this engineer type dude who made a good argument that multiple blades make for a worse shave and cartridge blades are not only crap quality but full of bacteria etcetc. So one edge is preferable, and ideally it souldnt have a guard as the guard itself can mat down the hair. So even a well designed safety razor with a new blade will still cause more irritation than a straight blade. I'm overthinking shit. Just curious if you all had an opinion. I HAVE to shave every 12 hours otherwise I stubble up. If I use a mach 3 I can shave once a day and it is really fast. Wait a day and it sucks. Biggest key is using REALLY fucking hot water to rinse them, shake well, and even use a hair dryer to keep them dry. DULL blades irritate, sharp don't. At least to me.

I've been trying to find some cheap adirondacks as well. I need them in black which means I don't want to buy nice ones if they are getting painted. Even shit goes for $75 here. Pisses me off.

Blow it up, you'll change your mind.

Bummer they can't put real glass on a phone. Works fine for 4" shots but anything more and it's tough.

wow neal

You can see the prop protector is just a little lower than the back of the sled trailer. About the same length back and nearly the same length overall.
-
Interesting with a long wheelbase truck and a big trailer. Tongue to end of swim platform that thing is 33' long. My neighbors laugh when I tear up the driveway at 30mph so I can make it up the hill
-
EASILY. I get the Malibu up and it is lower. Even goes up the steep side so I don't have to do a 30 point turn to point it back down. Here from the rear you can see how low it is.

Currently there is NO penalty for having a trailer, but if the neighborhood gets up in arms they will add one. Strategically discussing how best to deal with these sorts of situations paves the path for what I need. I know for sure out of the 26 houses that I already have the support of more than 5. For the bylaws to be amended and a different read to be put on things they need 75%. In my case I just need 25% to fight off the rest. I'd rather do it the other way though and come to a logical agreement of why things are as they are. To me having a snow trailer in my yard that moves every week is not storage and no different than parking a car. To some of them it is a fucking trailer. Right now my trailer is fucking ugly though too. Has to be to fit in my garage...

That has already started. Situation occured where one neighbor parking his RV now got another neighbors attorney involved int he board to correct it. Well I am on the board. Going to use this situation to feel out the whole neighborhood and based on my findings propose a solution. Have to make sure I give options and that the option that suits me the most wins. Going to be interesting over the next few months. I will add that being able to park a beast of a trailer like that in my yard would definitely add to my enjoyment of living here. There is a way right now, but it involves a bobcat and some landscaping expense to "hide" it from the street.

This public school is better than 99.9% of the private schools in the country. As for the trailer, the reason for the clause in the bylaws is to prevent people from shrink wrapping boats and storing them in their yard over the winter. Considering one of my neighbors pays $75k/yr in taxes having some semblance of serenity is IMO acceptable. Of course, I have a neighbor whose son drives a 1991 Toyota Camry that is faded, rusted, and generally looks like a shit wagon. It sits outside. IMO, this would look way better in a yard than that...

HOA's are nuts.If I can't do what I want in my own front yard that I Paid for with my own money I wouldn't be there. There has to be an area around that big ass lake that isnt controlled by some kind of subdivision board of asshatsThere is. Definitely part of the reason I want to move. However, the problem is very simple. We are in the best school district in the state, one block from the elementary school, 10min from downtown, <20min from the airport, right next to my wives place of employment and everything else is further away. If we traded our house even up for a lake front house it would be >1hr from downtown, in one of the worst school districts in MN, have shitty lake front, and would generally be surrounded by serious bullshit. The only options on the bay where I live that free up whatever I want start around $2M for 1800sq ft and considering we have 5000 now and that is more than double it isn't possible.
