There isn't really a market for the single din, feature rich and car audio consumer don't go hand in hand. Way over the heads of 90+% that own it which is sad since it is super simple.

And that is just it, an amp is an amp is an amp is an amp. I have a few of the Polk's (paid the same as the PPI) and they are fine. Processing on the other hand is not. While I prefer a parametric 99% of the para installations I've seen have been jacked since they don't understand how they work.

Went to farmer's markets in Singapore, China, & Malaysia in the past two weeks. Some of the best people watching in the world is always at markets.

Going to need a lot more than that. Your setup sounds VERY confused. The FT1's and PWX's do not blend together nicely at all. You will have HUGE gaps in the frequency response. Also using 4 FT1's is absurd. Even if you go forward with the PWX's 2 FT1's will embarass 4 of them. Adding the second ones will just be a net negative. You need a crossover AND eq. An eq won't do shit without.

When you don't use them you can have a full list of what is open and click on anything, alt-tab/mouse to whatever you want instantly. With tabs you have to sort through all the shit. Holding Ctrl+Tab shows me a list, just like Alt+Tab. and when you do it in windows the list is always open, no need to click shit What Windows lists all open windows? All of them

Sounds like you've got $80 to deaden. I'd use it ALL. Those Kickers will be as good if not better than other $80 options.

Headunit ONLY for the first time, otherwise don't bother. I would also recommend a graphic eq. Learning how to manipulate a parametric isn't simple. Most people really fuck things up. Add to that independent L/R eq on the Pio and I wouldn't consider the Clarion as a viable option.

Taskbar on the bottom is dumb IMO. Widescreen format isn't so useful unless you can double so the real estate to make a real bar on the side is key.

Or ctrl-n for a new window, search and alt-f4 to close it. Just replying alone in the hop makes me HATE tabs. SSA updates slow enough that I usually have 10 windows open by the time I've caught up.

And how the hell do you know which one to go to where? Without tabs I get a list. Uber easy. You must have a smaller screen, or, no that's it, you must have a smaller screen. I opened 14 tabs and though I can't read the full title of each tab, I can read enough to know what each tab is. Plus I can have two windows open with multiple tabs in each pertaining to a group of interest, ie: vomit porn, and job applications, and I rarely mix the two! 24" is small? No difference IMO from my 13" laptop to my desktop screen. Tabs just suck ass to switch between.

Same here, exactly why I hate tabs. List of them on the side of my monitor let's me see exactly what I want to get to pronto. No dicking around.

Making your car quiet will be easier than making your stereo loud to overcome it. Focus there first.

Last time I looked around we didn't have any high end car audio places in the cities. Bunch of awful bullshit, but no high end that is for sure.
