My next convo's with them ought to be fun.

Obviously would have to get some snows around KC as driving on the Nitto's all the way to MN might be a terrible idea.
-
Strange turn of potential events though.
-
That being said I am curious what I should have inspected pre-purchase. I definitely want the build list, any dyno/setup info, and so on. Obviously truck has more value to me if the parts used were as high budget as it looks.
-
Glad to hear you know of them though.
-
Assuming of course that he truly did it.
-
Supposedly these guys: http://eliteautowerks.com/ http://www.dallasperformance.com/
-
Elite Auto Works in Garland built it, Taylor at Dallas Performance did the dyno/tune

3.5 years old, 28k miles, vortech LSX build. Little concerned it has been thrashed, but it isn't like I don't plan to beat on it.
-
If not, I found a free Infiniti. Don't want it, but...
-
Called me back on the truck. So far it sounds like it is built right. I have access to the builder, the tuner and if I begged the previous owner. Traded it in on a new AMG, lol. Merc didn't want it and called autosource...or so I was told. Either way if he paid for other shit to go with his LSX I am interested in the beast. My boss is jealous, lol.

Something about studio listening I enjoy when in the serious "near field".
-
Which if I had a PC to taper I'd actually prefer.

When I worked for B&K we sold Senny's for Sound Quality Jury Testing. Of course the ones we provided were FLAT.

I've got a voice coil issue on a headphone siminar around here somewhere. If I can find it I'll scan and upload it.Thanks Again, not a head-Fi guy. I want the kind that covers the whole ear....whatever the hell that is called. Closed back. Doesn't need active noise cancellation, house is pretty quiet and wouldn't use them anywhere elseHa, none of them cover my elephant ears.

Unless it's very modded, very , he is full of shit.Or the Viper wasn't racing, driven by my grandpa, yadayada. I thought the 2500 diesel felt like a dog when I drove it. Sure torquey, but not quick.
-
And if it came in AWD I'd be fine. This is my "winter" car. Btw, I've spent a lot of time in one. My Uncle has one(first year though so it is a single cab).

Let's see how my less than $2.50 puller works, lol. Off to grab some pizza, but later tonight will strip the rest down.
-
A little rich perhaps meaning I am leaving some snort on the table, but it is probably safe, no?
-
Actually 2 questions. Would you rejet if your pistons looked like this?
-
I do have one question though for the motorheads here. Bolt on the crankshaft that holds on the fly wheel is a bit hard to turn since I turn over the motor. Any trick to holding it still?
-
Tonight I drill out the rivets and then I should be done with the disassembly.
-
Need to go to the hardware store. Started to tear down the snowmobile engine about 20 minutes ago and realized I need a pin puller. Figure a bolt, some pvc and a washer and BAM. Bummer though as I wanted to only put on mechanic clothes once today.
-
Exactly my thought....if the fucker would call me back.

It just felt HUGE compared to its American counterparts
