    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Almost ripped out my floors for that reason, but replacing the oak floors on just the main level was more than $25k

What hard wood would a M5 use is an M5 could use wood?I like the extremes. Blond maple or Dark Walnut. Depends on the space. Beech/Hickory and wood that shows both depths is also interesting to me, but it really needs to fit the space. Not opposed to a cherry as well, but they are usually boring for the $$. When I see oak I paint it.

I answered before you typed this Space is the first frontier. Goals next. Makes driver choice easy

Help with an active front stage.

Curious what made you pick that list of drivers, seems arbitrary to me. I would like to understand before making any recommendations. *please type the name of the driver in some short hand as it is way easier to respond versus clicking on the link for some of us. I am sure some would like the links too, but a little label like TB Underhung 6.5 would be sweet. How big of a diameter tweet/mid can you fit and how deep? Have plans for processing yet?

Why do all the turbo kits say "for off road use only". Okay, I know why they do, but obviously it isn't that big of a deal considering how many are run. Easy here since they don't even emissions test, but I don't understand how a procharger can be CARB and a turbo not. I realize the tuning will make it pass or not and that is included usually with a Charger setup but is this the only reason? kb racing & trick make kits for the Esky and in general I think the lag of a centrifugal or turbo will probably benefit my trans if I do it. Obviously the turbo shaves some wear off the motor since it isn't leaching power and actually looks like a cheaper option in particular if I do something different on the motor requiring a complete custom tune anyways.

Curious why you didn't think I was a smoker. Smoked cigarettes from when I was 14 until about 6-8 years ago. I LOVE the act of smoking, just not what it does to my body so I stopped.

Looks like a kitchen, but it looks like there are toothbrushes on the counter and a vanity mirror. Also, is that carpet? Inappropriate for either room IMHO. We have carpet in my wives "getting ready" space in the bathroom. Instead of having 2 sinks by the shower, hers is on the other side of the closet and is carpeted. In that case I think carpet is better than not.

Until it breaks. Good luck finding one that isn't shit for less than $60k as well. I want one.
  13. I realized you weren't just trying to state there was basically no logic in the smaller ones
  14. The 8's IB will be better than the 6.5's sealed...and you can always turn them down/eq them to your needs. no logic in the 6.5's for what you are doing IMO.

I actually like the stock caddy wheels better than those too. Really didn't want 24" winters....if they are even made.

All of them are cheaper than buying the car in Texas since it isn't what it was supposed to be.

Assuming I buy an Escalade, options seem to be: Dyno shop build the motor & install FI -Pros: Should be done right -Cons: Most expensive and time consuming which hurts on a DD Order a short block, pay a local shop to flip it, install FI myself. -Pros: Cheaper and way fast -Cons: Not sure I have time to do the FI and everything else I want to do. If not, more $$ Have a local shop remove the motor, get it built, and install FI myself -Pros: cheapest -Cons: motor won't be as stout as if I buy a small block Not sure really what a used L92 short block in a running car is worth.

Easily double The front diff assembly has to be removed. It is easy on a lift, but not on your back. Seriously? What kind of fuckery is that?

Small block? Or did you mean short block? Year and drivetrain info would help. not sure I have ever seen a 2wd Escalade, but I never saw a 2 door Grand Cherokee until last Wednesday. What generation? I never knew about a 2-door Grand Cherokee. 2-door Cherokee XJ, yes... the escalate is a 4dr comes in 2wd and awd
