Throwing away my stage? Why not drop the 6.5's and 6x9's in their factory spot and have the rear seats down, to avoid the "compression" problem.Anytime you have more than one driver playing the same frequency you destroy your stage. 6.5 and 6x9 components are far from ideal midbasses and using them as such doesn't make sense. -
the response or output?

The console idea is not going to benefit you at all. If you are throwing away your stage and only interested in adding midbass do it in the rear doors or rear. WAY better. And then use DEDICATED midbasses to do it. -
Full rangers still need crossovers and tapering to sound good.
-
And people still spend $70K on them. . . . Idiots.WHen the F150 has a nicer interior than your luxury flagship something is WRONG
-
Full rangers ONLY work on axis. ie, pointing right at your ears. In general this is of course the easiest install to do. Physically shoot at your ears and tune most of the frequency response on a single driver. Add to that you can mate them with awesome midbasses because you can usually get them to play down below 500Hz and depending sometimes well below. Some people LOVE sparkle though and then it wouldn't be for you. Easy test though. Buy a cheap 3" driver and slap it in a weeny enclosure and listen to it in your house. Be even better though if you already have processing so you can tame whatever is needed.

That interior looks to me like something a hot rodder would do to a 1980 Ford F series in 1981.
-
Handles like shit in comparison though too.
-
I'd rather buy the Lincoln, but I am not driving around in that.
-
Lincoln really needs to get their act together here:
-
More power and a sport suspension with a little more leather and it could be something. I've always thought SVT should work on the luxury cars and even fix the luxury.
-
Dash top is what matters. As in bigtime FR rolloff for the passenger. Not yet to tuning, just physical locations
-
Otherwise I'd be interested in the new body style as the interior in those is fucking perfect.
-
The Turbo is the most reliable as well if driven equally with the other trucks as all other logical upgrades also occur on it. Buying a non-Turbo is a bit of a mistake.
-
The V6 is god awful, the 8 very boring, the GTS handles nice but is slow, the Turbo actually feels a little wimpy as well but it drives so nice otherwise.
-
I always shop for cars nationwide. I've never been interested in a car that had choices locally. M3 - Chicago, M5 - KC, ML - Ann Arbor My Silvy was local, lol
-
If this is your dash it SCREAMS full ranger in the pillars

Oops wrong thread
-
Tuned for driver only acceptable?
-
How big of diameter tweeter can you fit? *goes to check other thread again

Unless you are SUPER conservative on the gain you will be in dire need of midbsas IMO
-
GTS is $30k
-
2008 or 2009 Cayenne Turbo (non-S). $35k and less than 60k miles and I would still do it. $40k and 60k I am not interested. $45k and 40k with Certified warranty for at least 4mo and I would do it as well. Only Black interior and Black, Silver exterior. maybe white/red/blue if it were PERFECT.Saw one that met all the criteria... except the turbo.2008 non-Turbo's with $60k go for $25

w is gone so I returned the rental car and am driving the XC90 V8. Super boring but I forget how nice it is.

So brakes are a get to, not a have too.
