Is the output on the GM Blose system "normal" if you use a PAC OEM-1? I'd atm prefer to leave the rear of the truck stock and just replace the fronts. It looks like I can do that with it. *just to clarify I only want the rears for the DVD video for the kids and using the stock shit for that is FINE http://www.pac-audio.com/PACProductData/OEM-1/1_Instructions/oem-1_instructions_102302.pdf Obviously the connections show that it works, but that doesn't mean it is worth a shit.

My 2-door has BOSE, but the soundtrack is played by my right foot. ZOOM ZOOM BLAT! The bose in the caddy is downright awful.

Still sorta shitty. IE voicemail from last week: It used to bunk a lot of my calls too. Just flat out got no message. I CAN'T afford that so I had to stop.

Has Google voice improved? It was awful a few months back

Need to address the factory GM orange peel first though

Same as always. Mostly 3M products, but some Meguires thrown in there as well. Potentially Collinite fleet wax as it seriously rocks on the boat.

You don't already have bandpass capability? If so, that is STEP 1!
-
Yes I have them. 2 are mounted (fiberglassed) on each door panel facing inside (about at your lower legs) Tweeters can be mounted anywhere.... They sound pretty good from like 70-4k. Only have all 4 on 150 rms right now though Listen to them WITHOUT any sub or tweeter. Only reason I am repeating this is that from 70-4k is not where they shine...if that range is okay with you, it does make things easier.

I need an adapter for my buffer/polisher for cotton wheels for rouge. This would work http://www.zephyrpro40.com/s2/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=550 Basically 5/8 11 2-3" extension. However I want it Wednesday and don't want to be raped on shipping. I figure I could just use a 5/8" bolt and a couple 5/8" nuts and washers, no?

That or a ported enclosure. Pro audio mids do not like IB.
-
Do you already have the PWX's? If so, do some listening tests and tell us for what frequency range you think they sound ok. Also, knowing your mounting locations would help a ton.

I run a garbage company

Going to need a midbass to go with those as well.

Didn't realize you were tht old

Understatement. I used to sell electronic loads and power supplies used for all sorts of testing including amplifiers. Just the load & power supply to do so with reasonable accuracy would set manufacturers back over $50k. Moved onto acoustic and vibe equipment which is equally as expensive.

Instead of buying tools to pretend to know what you are doing, buy a book and read. Loudspeaker cookbook would be a start.

Hmm, I want boost in the Miata. Details on the powerdyne? Noisy? Lots of lag? Unreliable.

Ah, my 10" is my garlic knife.

Hasn't been built yet. 500w x 1 @1 or 2, 500w x 2 @ 8, and 25w x 2 @8 adding another 25x2 @ 8 wouldn't suck either. Even better if it were uber small.
