This one will have ALL the updates of the 2014 model with a fresh engine and fully fresh bearings add a better track, better shock valving, better gauges, handlebar riser, better bars, better throttle block, longer rails, bogeys, ski's etc. I am not getting rid of this one for a long time. At some point it will be delegated to my second sled, but that'll be a while. For a backup I really prefer to have an old simple sled with a carburettor. Nothing exotic and all super EASY parts to get anywhere. That and it will be quicker, more responsive and more fun than any sled sold in any dealer in the country. And obviously WAY cheaper to build one than to buy.

Being the outside of the screen is flat and style of mount that sandwiches will work. Would have been the easiest screen mount in a cayenne. 1 piece of wood, routed, then cut and 4 holes drilled and stock mounts would have worked.

Are there steering wheel controls? If so, it is easy enough to get them to talk with the Nexus. Or perhaps any other button in your car. Can also root it with Timur's kernel so a volume control is in your task bar at all times. Just + - but it is enough. Power control on that unit is EASY to reach if you pull the rear cover and can then make your own. Or use the kernel above to automatically unsleep when it see's power. Usually about a 2 second boot from sleep. Battery lasts about 10+ days with the car off in standby as well. As long as you drive once a week you'll have instant startup nearly. And definitely permanent mount. SDR Touch and some adapters will let you get free FM over your car's antenna. If you want peripherals, before you go buy some let me know as I may go a different route and am all set up to do it. I just have WAY more screen real estate space than the 7 so I'd like to go bigger. ONLY the Nexus 7 (2012) can boot instantly via rom, charge over USB & use a USB hub all at the same time....unless someone has hacked something else in the past two months which I don't think.

Definitely report back what you hear, hopefully will really help narrow things down.

The non-shiny part is under the gas tank. Even that got wet sanded and cleaned up a bit.

Rear suspension was just rails this morning, whole chassis shines now. Not perfect, but I'm done.

Don't boost cut the rest. And before that listen to just a single tweeter on and off axis in the portion of the song that you are currently bothered by. Make sure it is what you think it is before trying to fix it.

determine cap size and or power cell size

If your largest market was a market you didn't like but you could make 80% of your money there would you ignore it? From your responses, it sounds like you would. Of course if you were publicly held that wouldn't be your choice if you wanted to stay employed. -
Should have all the parts tomorrow and the bolts soon. Everything that can be unbolted is unbolted atm. Even some riveted things are off. Tomorrow I am going to clean, re-rivet, and polish the tunnel. After that it is just assembling the engine, the suspension and slapping it in. lol. Probably 20 hours worth of labor? Took 4-5 to strip it.Sounds like fun. Wish I lived closer, I would love to help you put it back together.Wish you lived closer, wouldn't mind the help. Shop day is always more fun with beer and camaraderie.

Seriously? Does it map it first or just look for date or what?It copies everything over on "first run", then it backups by comparing timestamp and filesize. You can also set it to do a checksum (for same size files), but that'll slow it down some. Prime example of why I use Linux, so much easier to do shit and almost everything is opensource. Need a program? 99% of the time it's listed in the repository files so all you do is: "sudo apt-get install programname," hit Y, and it's installed. You want access to your home computer when you're away? Setup some firewall rules for ssh or vnc, start the services, port forward on the home router, and you're done. Wanna write an image file to a usb drive? " dd if=imagefile.iso of=/dev/usbdevicename bs=512k" done. Where does one find the command codes to "learn" linux. I've only used windows style commands. Did some programming in my day so I am not lost, but the syntax is not obvious.

Is 7" a 6.5? What needs do you have. I probably have 15 pairs in my basement, but based on what you are asking for didn't feel they fit...

12" ZCon D1 4th order box sealed size help
///M5 replied to Dexter Chaos's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Not sure if you are asking for help with a sealed, ported or bandpass. Sealed's are not 4th order unless of course you are including electronic slope in which case you could easily have that as an overall result. Ported & Bandpass are both 4th order on their own though. No way, no how with BP. They have a very small positive and if you don't need that they are a waste. The rest tough to say. -

Big flat panels are better out of wood for strength -
Come on Ryan, I know you love the stereo and the steering wheel. Probably the uber thick tires as well, not to mention a mismatched wheel for the car. As for the idea of the car and what it could be, I also love. Probably not hard to get that one there either.

That is because you are picking pointless ratings for shopping. Ignore the impedance, power handling and sensitivity. In a tweeter you really shouldn't have to care about any of the above. The first question is always WHERE. Have to know those limitations first. Also helpful to know what you are blending them with, where they are mounted and what the limitations of the mid are (assuming you have them already). Considering you have the Morel's and don't like them, it would be good to know what settings you are using and such. And more detail on what they don't do. "High end extension" can mean greatly different things to many people and I would consider "sharpness" and absolute negative, but I bet in your description it is something else entirely.

If you still can vote, I vote to move the fucking thing where it isn't seen for a week or two so that it won't get bumped up.
-
Can anyone who hasn't voted (lol) look at the whatever the moron fuck "make her dance" thread? I tried to close the poll only, but think I closed the thread for replies instead. Don't care about the replies but the poll I don't understand and having it bump shit to the top when voted on blows.
