And if you have to buy skinless next time thighs. Seriously.

Indian food is typically a one pan meal, but I tend to try to optimize what I know about food in anything. If you are willing to gain a rougher texture then you can keep the protein in the dish the whole time. Personally I never sacrifice the protein and since you are using absolutely tasteless chicken I'd definitely not. If you want to start with the bird and never remove it then please leave the skin & bones on/in and just take them out at the end.

Maillard is always your friend. Brown, pull & set aside. Make the curry in the pan, bring to 170 and add the chicken. Do not add dairy until right before you serve though, if you have to make it creme fraiche as I've had good luck having it hold with more heat than other dairy.

I'd tend to poach the chicken in 170f curry then.

fheg eats boneless skinless chicken? Hope you enjoyed the "camping hug" practice

That depends a lot on what happens next. A headunit is really your best bet. Next is a computer controlled processor. Just travel with your PC A LOT in the early going. I see you reference a minidsp. They will ONLY do 4chn so your sub will have to be dealt with in either a 2nd minidsp or another proc. It also isn't the most car friendly piece with such low input voltage and potentials for noise it isn't the easiest item to use. That being said the flexibility is awesome. I run a pair in my boat. Other processors will really depend on what you can find used.

Why lame for factory locations? I seen several people place small mid range speakers in the dash locations. Is this for the ease of the install? What would be ideal locations if factory locations are not that great? For a crossover to really be worth a shit it has to be designed in place with measurements in the locations where the speakers will sit. Obviously there is no 3 way that was designed this way. Manufacturers also cut corners like hell on 3 way crossover components. IF you were putting all the drivers in the kicks maybe, but the crossovers still make me puke. If you run three way do it active or don't bother. Bolting in a set into your stock locations would be a serious waste of money. Could gain way more doing actual install/tuning work than spending $ on the 3 way set.

I'd buy a processor and not use the amps. If you can't make changes in the drivers seat you shouldn't even bother trying. At least for your first setup.

trying to get some help with new enclosure

I'd seriously play with designs. Size and layout is always part of the equation. ie, lay out your box first. Moving up or down a little will be obvious what it does at that point and what fits well is worth weighing into the equation. -
Ha, so this is what posts outside the hop look like

First of all, nice thread. It may be the first time someone has truly shared what is necessary to help. Locations and installation are by FAR the biggest key to a successful install passive or active. There is one detail you left out and that is how much space from the stock speaker to the door card. No matter what you are going to need a baffle and that will protrude in that direction. Of course the more space you have the further you can build it out and the deeper a driver will fit. Your locations aren't ideal, but that holds for passive or active. The best way to learn active is to start with a set of passives and biwire them to the amps them such that you can switch between active and passive and teach your ears what is good and what can be improved (keep the crossover by the amps to make the switch easy). A baseline really helps the learning process. If long term you really want to do an active setup, I'd grab any used comps you can buy that you can sell for what you pay for them and start by going back and forth and trying to improve them.

trying to get some help with new enclosure

Once you start designing it'll be pretty obvious what you have to pick. Huge port area and no internal volume makes for a nasty to design enclosure. Exactly why single ported 8's are dumb. Going on the bigger side will make it easier. -
Exactly why Americans should eat more duck and less chicken.

Boneless/skinless chicken should never be purchased. Ick. At least give me the love of the only good part of the bird which is the skin. Bone is useful as well, but skin is necessary. As with all birds cooking them in their own or similar fat is usually the best way.
-
Chicken Marsala? Cheap and easy sauce, I usually make it using the Boneless skinless and it comes out great.I LOVE Marsala sauce! Unfortunatelty, I have yet to find a local place that sells a good Marsala. It is uber easy to make at home.
-
Time to focus on the sauce, not the meat. I'd poach it in 170F water until it is 170. Then put it in something yummy.

/\ that I can dig

That was a rhetorical question hinting that perhaps the solution to that problem is well defined. Just in case you didn't get, shut it off first.
-
It doesn't happen when you plug it in when the system is off does it.
-
If that idea is foreign to you then you should pay someone to.

If is it harmful levels of course. A harmful level of ANY signal will. I'd be MUCH more interested in knowing why. Until you look over and re-attach EVERY wired connection I wouldn't turn it on.
-
wiered looks more like wired than weird. Best way when it sucks wired is to try wireless. It was a pun. Can't convert your power and complete wires to wireless, but you do have a wiring problem.
