My cast iron is all on a pull out drawer. I have been thinking about upgrading those too. It's only a matter of time. Pan drawers are cabinets and should slide nice.
-
How many different things did you copy and paste there?

If you don't do super cooking and are on a budget induction is a great way to go. Water will boil the fastest (again unless you buy a near restaurant gas range) and delicately heating things is far easier. The instant you want a heat change you have it. Gas only wishes it could go that fast.

The rest of my drawers I won't notice. The one you use over and over and over and over it is nice.

Sorry if that came out pointed. I get super frustrated with the serious lack of knowledge at ANY install shops in Minneapolis. We have so much great stuff here to not have a shop sucks.
-
No. You need to straighten out the rest of the guys at your shop, they are confused. 1) Don't use the SA3055 it isn't going to help, train your ears. 2) I really like Kicker stuff, but buying a pot driven eq in this day and age if fucking stupid unless you get it ridiculously cheap. Even then, I'd sell it and run something else. 3) Huh? I don't even follow your question, but notice you are confused about h/u voltages. You can plug into as many amps as you need if the gain makes up for the difference and doesn't get noisy. No direct answer like 4 or some shit as every amplifier has a different capability in the gain knob before creating thermal noise. If you don't have it, you are fine. If you do, more voltage will help...or less gain. 4) Use good connections, doesn't matter how many; however, dumb to use that set of gear. Get an all in one processor or don't bother. 5) You don't want SQ. Don't ask for it. Describe what you actually subjectively mean, not some arbitrary term 6) Why would you add a ground to something that is grounded? If you have a ground problem more grounds is NOT the way to fix it.

Holy shit! I have remodeled this entire house and rewired it. The slides will be easy, just have to convience myself that $34 a drawer is worth the money. The silverware drawer is. The rest, do after. The Rockler ones are super nice and easy to install. I've tried hard with some garbage.

She has to hear herself talk through a problem out loud, but goes in circles. I can't follow shit. Has a problem, wants my help in Excel. I get the emotional walk through of all the columns. I just want to know which columns she needs matched where and what rows put where. The rest I can play with.

Wow did I ever just piss off my wife.

How much effort?

I have absolutely zero need for these....so you are making my buy some.

Fucks it up bad. Worst thing you can drive in the winter. Traction control also should be run OFF. It is fucking stupid. Doesn't work where you need it to and gives idiots self confidence that makes them do stupid shit.

I drove 160mi today. I drove the wives. Snowmobile. Couldn't see shit until noon. Paved a trail through over a foot of fresh snow as everything had drifted over. Following trail signs is REALLY hard without a trail. Rare that you turn in MN by steering the opposite and leaning like a motorcycle but that was more than half of today. Seriously bummed I couldn't ride my sled as it is absolutely geared for exactly these conditions. FUCK ME.

Who does more cooking should decide. I rarely put my foot down, but when I do the wife is so subservient it's freaky. My wife has ZERO say on what is in the kitchen. She does beg sometimes though. For nearly 5 years she wanted a microwave to make popcorn. Finally installed one in a closet. I have 2 uses for a microwave. Heating Tortilla's in my T-warmer and turning refridgerator butter into counter butter consistency. Seriously don't know what else you'd use them for. For that I didn't see why we would buy one. Adding popcorn is equally as stupid, but it made her happy and the location doesn't bug me.

Before I spill any sailor on it. Wow that would never happen. Might replace the slides on the drawers depending on price. Time for a visit to your local Rockler

Deglaze as you cook. A more specific description of what you are cooking when you have the problem will make it easier to help.

You need to whip that woman. First a knife set and now electric. "Dying" to hear the reasons.
-
Pans are like knives though. A set is ALWAYS STUPID.

Using a saucier is much nicer on induction as well. SO EASY to dial in the right temp for the task at hand and simmering even over night doesn't heat up anything but the food. If I had a shit ton of money I'd do both gas & induction although I only need a 2 burner induction. Problem is currently the pans as I own two cast iron pans that I mostly use at the beach and one Le Creuset braising pan.
-
Of course if you don't like Maillard then you are fine.

I prefer gas to induction...but also have an induction burner. Induction I use for cooking AT the table. I also have a Bluestar for a gas range though and not some Kitchenaid wallyworld special. The Bluestar has a 22,000btu burner. A normal Sears gas range tops out at 8,000. And btw, 22,000 is often times NOT enough. Anything larger than a 10" pan is tough and requires that you know what you are doing. In other words, grabbing a $700 range from Home Depot in gas means you are really limited to a 5" pan which doesn't even cook for one.
