Explains why I didn't recognize it.

    Where is that?

    new year.. new system..but what?

Guessing at what can fit is counterproductive. Measuring actual space is really needed. Is it a split rear seat? Can you remove half of it?

I could not agree more! They must watch all those dumb ass commericals and believe they can drive in anything. My take is you meet the dumbest people in a Subaru if it is snowing. It must take a certain personality type to think a Subby is a good choice. I will admit I have owned two and hated both of them. Maintenance was through the roof as something different would break every week. My mom had an Outback right when they first came out and I can say it was about the only one I ever drove I liked. My parents love them and that is all they own now. I drove dad's Trebica with 31k on it and it needs all the bushing replaced in the front end already. They told him that was normal and offered him replacement parts at a discount. Needless to say I would never own one. Hey now, I like the cars, but this is coming from a racing perspective. How many licks does it take to get to the center? Quite the race.

I rode past it on a snowmobile yesterday. Well not exactly, but I could see the steam. FTFY Ha, indeed. I LOVE steam power.

It is MUCH more rider forward than the trailing arm sleds it replaced though. Basically a 2005 chassis with slightly updated A-arm geometry and skid.

BTW, 2011 is when the RMK went rider forward. Since you like ass draggers though you will prefer the 2008.

Be nice to know if it was a single ring or double ring engine. The doubles were more reliable. Pistons/rings are probably $270 or so for it.

I bought some at HD that look like the ones you highlighted from Lowe's. They work like SHIT compared to the ROckler ones. I may have bought slightly cheaper ones, but adjusting them to work sucked and they aren't smooth nor worth a shit in comparison. Rockler has a nearly monthly 20% off coupon if you sign up for their newsletter/customer email thingee. It comes in the mail.

I was perhaps harder on the 700 than I should have been. Weight of an 800, speed of a 600 (or less) and had some serious mapping issues in the pc when first released. Once updated most of them seem "fine" but they aren't as robust as the 600 nor as quick usually. The old 700 carbed models on the other hand were sweet. Way more power than the 600 and better fuel mileage too. I run those 700 pistons in my 600 making it the best of both worlds at 660cc. Rev's like a small block and has the bang of a big block. Modding a 600 to a 660 will set you back $2-3k though. Exactly why I was so excited to find one.

2010 that you could buy for $4k, be cheaper if it weren't a dealer. Much better motor in this one. 700 carbed was the bomb, 700 CFI a mess. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/snd/4296921212.html

$3kIs well maintained. 156 track, lots of mods. You sir are a good fucking guesser. It isn't a ProRide, that is what it would go for here. Usually MN has about the best sled prices in the country so I just took a what would I pay. BTW, next Oct you will be able to sell that for $4-4.5k. Feb is BY FAR the best time to buy. The sled I bought 3 years ago next fall I expect to make money on if I put it up for sale. To many mods to even remember. If has been taken care of as stated the shelf life should be good to go for resale. And you know me, I always buy when the market is low, NOT when I need something. Which engine? What shocks (ie is it a Dragon or base?) A link to the ad would work too 700cc. Is my cousins sled so no link. I will get all the info and some pics. On my way there now!Mods are SPOOKY on a used sled. The 700CFI is a dog and a time bomb. There is a reason it was only available for a short while. $3k might be overpriced...

How did you know I am damn good at house cleaning, all thats right I am married and too cheap to pay a maid. That sounds about right. Yes maid is one of my many job tittles. lmao New rule in this house; If you let something on my counter, I assume you missed the trash can and I will put it there for you. I love that rule Go easy on the little men though. I would ONLY use that on my wife

    balance/SQ, lossless line voltage?

When you start off quoting the Loudspeaker Cookbook and then talk about a topic not even covered it doesn't leave a whole lot to discuss. The first sentence of your next paragraph makes no sense. "the gain of an amp does not amp the input voltage, it amps the output voltage of the amplifier." As by definition ALL that an amplifier does period is amplify the input voltage. S/N ratio's on amps isn't a spec you should ever read. It is 10000% meaningless. Going after an arbitrary efficiency rate (that isn't based in reality btw) is nonsense. Backwards goal, look at it the other way around. And efficiency changes will not "give you a better response" or "a cleaner signal". The SA3055 is a joke of analyzer and will only confuse you. Your whole ideas with nulls is nonsense. Why you car about something you can't hear is confusing since this is a stereo that is made for YOU to LISTEN to. The SA won't help you find clipping either, not even close. Again your ears can. Serious shop? I don't care about that, I want serious employee's. It is a shame when there is absolutely nothing of value for me in any shop in town. There is nowhere I can even reference ANY of my friends to go for anything. Flat out embarrassing.

Fi audio Q12 and BL12 TOGETHER????

I have nothing really positive to say about the CDT's. Also "suffice" is rather personal, for me not even close but that means nothing for you. Understanding your expectations and goals would help. Also do realize that installation of the comp set will make a BIGGER difference than the set themselves. As for kick response, a 15" sub is NOT any slower than an 8" sub. There is no issue with "fast" notes on any sub (excluding ones designed like shit of course), just issues on shitty enclosures.

There is a reason we call them Subarooch here. Rooch being a take off of roach ie cockroach. They keep getting buried in the snow and the lessies get pissed.
