$5/lb is UBER cheap

Go LISTEN to some and tell us what you like and don't like about sets. Otherwise it is truly pointless.

NOTHING AT ALL. If you have ever heard any benefit of rears, you were sitting in a car that had an install problem on the fronts. As for the doing it yourself, there is still cost. Deadening, MLV, CCF, baffles, etc.

Icon Response and Kippel result graphs from npdang's review
///M5 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
In general it is a bad idea. The results are misinterpreted way too easily. A Klippel is easily sourced, the data however is not usually read anywhere near the right way. -
Who CDT??? well any companies you would recommend for high power SQ at $600 for budget on both sets of door speakers? Yep. Spend all $600 on two speakers + installation, 4 is stupid.

Machine I bought new, was before the Euro went buck wild though. Grinder was an old Starbucks unit from when they actually made real coffee's. When they switched to the super auto's they sold all their grinders. A couple bought one here, opened a coffee shop and went out of business. I bought it from them. Pretty sure it was a decaf grinder as it is rather small for a full time shop to be pulling shots with all day. Could easily be done though. The machine is sized similarly. Really made for a library bookstore or the like where they pull less than 200 drinks a day.

Rancilio Silvia with a PID is the cheapest real machine. Takes a $400+ retail grinder for it to work though (as do all machines)
-
I paid $100 for the grinder and $1200 for the machine

Yo J, HBD!

Of course a pound makes 28 doubles. ie, lb a week + so that is nearly a years worth.

In general I think the cartridge types are lackluster. The Nespresso is by far the best, but it only makes very small euro sized coffees. The others are pizzle in general. Of course I am a bigger coffee snob than pretty much anything else. I figure anything I have 2-3 times a day better be good. My current setup is a Mazzer Super Jolly and Quick Mill Vetrano. https://www.chriscoffee.com/Mazzer-Super-Jolly-Espresso-Grinder-p/2810.htm http://www.chriscoffee.com/Quickmill-Vetrano-p/n995.htm What I use though REQUIRES barista skill. Have to pull a good 1000 shots before you start getting good ones. Just ordered 60lbs of green beans a few days ago as well. Shipped they are less than $5/lb

Probably about what they should have retailed for new. El cheapo driver with a 2" VC. Nothing particularly exciting, I'd think you could do better used.

Time to get a grinder
-
Then cross them off your list. Not really missing anything anyways.

Doesn't work. Obviously either you got a new bum socket, wired it wrong, or have a problem up stream from the socket. Not sure where you tested it, but it would be after that. *realize it seems so straightforward it is dumbfounding and once you figure out what it is I'll bet it was dumb too. Always the hardest shit to find.

There was some roast and she was a part of it. Not a single second went by when someone wasn't talking about her assets.

You should not breathe it at all. I forgot to mention that if you do use an ozonizer to go away for a couple days and let it do it's thing. The pup can't be in the house either.Come on, your body is great at absorbing 03. So great in fact that you won't absorb 02. Perfect! Mine in my saltwater tank malfunctioned and made us feel very sick and caused nose bleeds. Yes, because not breathing is great!
-
Chest is midbass not sub. Hard to breath isn't going to happen with a single driver in particular in that box. And yes, great indeed. Being quiet outside while however you want on the inside is perfect. No wasted energy.

Go listen to some sets. Comps are personal. 4 tweeters is NOT a good idea so save the dough there.

Funny I watched this 10 min ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8bn6Rnzi3A <- sells Kuka robots...

Doesn't really matter what it is as long as it has strength. I'd worry much more about lively panels than smoothing transitions. Of course what you do depends on your goals.

73% lol. Google log scale once. Can't really tell anything from a video, but I think your expectations are odd. Moving things is a strange goal. As for the outside of the car and not hearing it, good. That should be your exact goal. Whatever you want on the inside and dead silent on the out. That goal is tough though.

jesus, try some paragraphs. Stick with one set of 6.5 components upfront. 6x9s or whatever are fine too buy have no real advantages. 6.5s are probably easier to install in most cars. Anything installed in the rear deck or rear doors is a waste of money. better to spend that on the front comps/install/deadening. I personally prefer some 6x9's in the rear deck of my car I decided, without them...at least in my Mazda Millinia the sound image is just to black and white, with no blend...it's all in what you think sounds better and also in what Alton advises about quality instalation with dampening. That denotes an installation problem. If the 6x9's helped at all there is a TON you could do to improve things...
-
Since you didn't read, I'll quote myself. Translation. 2 sets of 6.5's up front is bad. 6.5's up front and any mid in the rear is bad. "Keeping" up is not done by adding a ton of drivers but optimizing the equipment and most importantly install.
