I don't see that you have ever been told anything correct. Forget it all.

Those Daytons are not noob friendly. Absolutely difficult to use in a 2 way and a poor choice for a 3 way.

Holy chatteriffic

Oh, and finally the install adjustments start.

Send one to my house please.

All sorts of errors will occur trying to do an acoustic measurement like that. Noobtastic. Cool pic though.
-
That pic is funny considering I am on a plane right now and have a beamforming and near field holography array checked down below.

How do I sign up to receive that?

wow, it has resolution down to 1mm? i really want to play with one. Resolution is wavelength dependent. In finding losses though 1mm was EASY oh right, makes sense. can you post some before and after pics when you mlv the doors? Of course, that'll be a while though as the suspension & brakes are first, then engine, and then stereo.

You have the equipment to completely make what you hear now sound like shit. I can guarantee one thing. If it sounds better with your rears on, your fronts are not set up correctly. Once this is done they will do NOTHING positive. Not even for rear passengers. Keep experimenting, it will get better. -
Low output below 35-40hz and High QTS in a ported enclosure

Setting the gain is a joke. Just set it so you can exceed what your driver can and then INTELLIGENTLY use your ears on EVERY song. No need for "setting" as it won't save you anyways. The goal with setting should be to make the whole system perform as one (left that subjective on purpose). Doing anything else is a waste of time. If of course you have a magically level matched music collection I can see exceptions, but you still should actually listen to your music as that is somewhat the point. -
In North America if you want one, I am the guy to call

Is the owner of your shop learning disabled? Seriously??

And don't use either a DMM or O'scope. And no, your clipping indicator doesn't work either. You have two ears, use them. -

Amp is a gain block, your headunit can do everything you need. Do yourself a favor though and sell the rears and run the tweets & mids on their own channel. 80prs network mode ftmfw. -
the kickstarter is at $5.5m with 8 days left. ridiculous.https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1003614822/ponomusic-where-your-soul-rediscovers-music My understanding is he wanted a player that was better than MP3. I sure as shit can tell an mp3 from a CD with my good headphones or my Martin Logan's. The Logan's are particularly cruel to production and compression. They make some of my most nostalgic albums sound like flat shit because of it. Just cruel cruel speakers. The flip side is, some of those really well recorded albums have so much hidden content that they sound remastered compared to listening on junk speakers. can't tell a 320 I'd bet money on it. My wife could. Through a Butler 475, Hertz Milles, Cadance, and Adire Koda 10s she said she couldn't put a finger on it, but it sounded more "real". Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. remind me when I am home to send you a CD.

Get to go to one of the big three, a major tier 1, an electric car manufacturer, a portable electronics company, and an aerospace company with it this week as well. Yay, airplane.

Spent all day using digital ears. Playing with the Acoustic Camera. Found 1mm holes in wind turbine blades with nearly no excitation energy. Might have to have some fun when I MLV my doors Can you say NO leaks

Last time I downloaded an MP3 it was wild to see it at 128 bit rate. I've never downloaded a song so don't ask me, just telling you what I'd rip at. Actually I don't think you'll even hear 192, but there are exceptions to that rule. Blind a/b really shows how bad our ears are
