You missed the point, 2+2. I want something the kids can come in too, otherwise it is pointless. Long term I'll build something real. This is just an itch. Won't keep it, won't upgrade it much, just drive for a year or two until i have some time to do something.

I want a 2+2 in a non-depreciating form with capability for some performance. Ideas? Interior sucks here, but the drivetrain is easily mod-able: Interior needs love and requires an engine swap. If I found one with an LS in it, I'd buy it pronto: What else? Overall buy in ~$30k or less I'd prefer and I have to be able to put 5k mi or so on it a year and not worry about the value changing or any major non-planned repairs.

The sole goal of a full range is to have it play as much of the frequency range as possible. This allows a driver like the SLS referenced above which can almost play to 300Hz nice, anything above and you don't want it. What can be recommended depends on budget, goals, capability and the like. An ideal processor is a computer, but that'll take a lot of know how to yield a good sounding setup out of it. Once you are in the realm of a 3 way you need a stand alone proc of some sort that isn't limited. New ones on the market are limited and expensive so I'd lean on used for that.

The 80prs will NOT do a 3 way active nor will it do a 2way with an 8" sub and 3" mid. Going to need different processing if you want to go that route.

I have an iron tha's German and Swedish. OMFG is it a pain in the ass.At times it seems they enjoy messing with us. What are they?J Ultrasonic bonders, we use them to bond material together. May be German, but Hermann has a large facility in Chicago that does design as well. The ones in Germany are usually more accurate though as they spend a lot more on R&D.

Same thing I was thinking, but some people believe they need the exact same amount of tweeters as mids. Same people have a hard time with rudimentary understanding of audio. A simple calculation would clear that up.
