If I saw an 8 that required that much space I'd shop for a larger diameter driver. Single ported 8's rarely make sense though from a space/output perspective.

From his description I thought for once someone was using 4th order nearly right and actually asking for a standard ported design and not a bandpass. If it is the latter, it would be best to describe why you want one as 99% of the time they are misused.

For example one country bar often has a packed house in weekends, but runs no specials, and loses clientel due to shitty drinks. J Has ANY bar only venue there made a 10 year run? Making it with no food really makes you reliant on something to get traffic in. Easiest way to do that is cheap drinks, but then you have slim margins. The business model you define just wouldn't work here at all. Of course, no food and you are closed Sunday here too. Normally I'd guess is $8 for a 16oz micro.
