I've eaten scales, just never really on purpose, lol.

People rave when I make an egg. It's a fucking egg, not like it takes all that much to cook it.

Like eggs, why so hard for most people?

Of course, simple is hard. DUh!

There is also some particularly bad suburban chinese food here. Sad since it is SO EASY

It is also the one thing Minneapolis sorely lacks. A good Korean restaurant. Seriously sad.

    I love Korean food btw

I know some Koren people who eat them in milk. I've had intestines, stomach, heart, testicles, lungs, gizzards and other unique body parts in Korean restaurants. Most of those items I'd prefer to scales, but obviously am more than willing to try if someone makes them tasty. Pretty sure if that is the case they could put dirt in the dish and it'd be tasty. I don't need calcium that bad either. Being connective tissue I imagine when broken down they may be lip smackin', but flavor is not something they bring to the game.

    JL W6W12 Advice

20% more cone area wouldn't be worth spending $10 on We are trying to help but you aren't listening. Need to know more about your constraints before we can really offer any advice other than to share what surely won't help.

No matter the fish, scales are not good eats

Btw, scaling trick. Wire dog brush and a big plastic bag. Put fish in bag, descale in there and remove. Will keep the scales from going all over your house and takes seconds.

    Always scale first of course.

If you really want to eat the skin of a Halibut I would recommend removing it and then cooking the skin on its own.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Do you want to eat the skin? If so scale it and put the skin side down as it needs Browning. If you won't eat it cut it off I love skins and this skin is super smooth Generally speaking it is one of my favorite parts of the fish, but I assumed you removed it because it is Halibut and it isn't really something you want to eat.

No crow's foot wrenches?nope. I think this may help. Came in super handy on my truck for a very hard to reach transmission bolt.http://www.harborfreight.com/combo-go-thru-socket-set-sae-metric-21-pc-67974.html Sweet buying one. Hear wrenches are too expensive for the random use

If I had a 1/4" breaker bar it would have fit. Constrained based on the diameter of the ratcheting portion of the head. I may not be as mechanical as you, R1, or Seth but I am not a retard. I tried every combination of everything I could. If I had a double offset box end it would work. Mine are offset about 1" or so, need 2" to clear the sheet metal around the motor. There are other times where something like this would have been useful. Definitely a worthy buy for the future IMO. Semi-deep sockets, perhaps? I have 4 different length "deep" sockets. Snap-On makes great semi deeps. in this case it was the headsize of the ratchet. Figure it's an excuse to make it easier to put back together

Thanks, I might need him for something other than the reg. Reg's are pretty cheap here at $10, but I might have a panel made and my registration in negative to be a bit stealthier. Not sure that I can do local

Awesome. I am going to need some new vinyl as well. Realized neither of my sleds have registration numbers. Time for a design of some sort!
