No water in the airbox even though it was close
-
No ignition. Figured it was swamped.

She died while crossing some 2' deep water. Was about a 50' spot covering the trail.
-
Oops. Got her dirty. Was worse a bit later when we found the deep mud, but I didn't take any shots of that.

New machine is a beast. Amusingly it is the fastest quad in our group...which I think mean that others are now going to spend some money. 4wd just isn't necessary. We went through some NASTY mud and deep water and rider capability made more of a difference than 2 or 4. 4's are just too heavy to get where they need to go. The monstrous torque at near idle helps too.

Interesting. What will it do there? Just wondering if there is some further way to optimize what you are doing.
-
Yep, you can build a box
-
I'd recheck your wiring. Sounds like your "fixes" jostled something that actually did the fixing.
-
What is the technical application? Probably another easier way to skin that cat.

Not saying there aren't others that could be okay online, but just that I personally haven't verified any so I won't recommend them.
-
Ha, that's not rude. Audio forum's have a tendency to attract people that can't use a tape measure which means estimating box volume is usually WAY optimistic. If you are positive, then we can work from that. Port size is a preference thing. If you don't want to hear it huffing you need a larger one than if you don't care. WinISD allows you to see this by calculating port velocity. I personally don't trust any online ones. Math is simple enough to calculate by hand as well, but it is so easy in WinISD.

Hell, 8" of fresh snow today where we are riding. Might be slick
-
12" wide ones as well. Going mudding.

First rip on Friday.

If it were a non-vinyl top and had bucket seats I may have bought it https://www.ebay.com/itm/223501428353?ul_noapp=true

Port eats a lot of room, don't think you are in the right realm yet. Depends on how good your measurements are. I would personally mock it up with cardboard or anything to make sure. If you can't, then build the box before buying the driver so you can downsize to a 10 if you have to. Win ISD is the most logical choice in freeware IMO.

On this page: https://www.foxacoustics.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=DQC-212-V there is no reference to whether that is gross or net volume, the thickness of the material or very importantly the size of the port. No way, no how would I ever buy anything that is marketed like that. That info might be somewhere else, but I stopped looking.

Rockford P150 and a JBL 1500GTI. Someone jacked the Xcon and amp from it so I pulled that out of my closet.
-
I am still running a sub/amp I bought in 1991...although now it is in my boat

Welcome. We come from the same era

Have to say I've NEVER added a charger to my truck and have flashed it at least 100 times. Hope it is as Ryan expects (I do too btw).

I need some advice about making a compact subwoofer.
///M5 replied to Photoro's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Really hard to help you when you don't share goals and limits. A 6x6x6 inch box is not a sub woofer box.... -
Awesome. Glad to see you finally are going to have fun in the winter!!!

Awesome deal Ryan. Curious what all parts it has/ been added so I can vicariously lice through you.
