the house smells heavenly I had a roast in the oven at 450 degrees for the past hour drenched in wine
-
Those amps all do a good job of the cheesy 80's sound
-
If anyone happens to see a nice Marshall JCM 800 or Lee Jackson psuedo equivalent (Blues 50, XLS500, Ampeg VL, Crate Stealth/Blue Voodoo) I am in the market. Also will need a 2x12 cabinet.
-
I'll go over to HQ and bust some heads for you.
-
I can pull a new line to the outside of the house in about 3 minutes. Have a stuff tube going exactly where it needs to go. Here at my house the limit is 12 though. 60 is rippin.

Really you should start with what you have and then change it up. One could argue that throwing in a $5 tweet to make sure you don't blow it as you play around the first time makes sense but otherwise start with the Focals
-
Not sure how good the Focal tweet is that far off axis. If I were to buy a driver I'd look for a tweet that is. Might as well start with what you have and then alter to improve though.
-
What is a "decent" crossover section mean? Post up the frequency choices and slope options and it'll be easier to judge.
-
Best advice I can give you is that they aren't your cup of tea. Always start with what you have and what you want to improve. Doing something different for any other reason is usually an exercise in futility.
-
The only reason I am skeptical is that it coincides pretty much exactly at post dinner time. My neighborhood is filled with high school students. Figure it is game time on that is slowing it down.
-
Albeit not normally for very long. They are good to me.
-
Can you use something like noip.com where you have a domain and run a client on a computer on the network that checks for ip changes and updates the domain? Being German our shit is so locked down and rigid I "get" to wait on hold.
-
Dude! It'll fit. I got it in!
-
Cable retention did that for me today. The whole business model is jacked. Fuckers.
-
I really wanted to put a 3" FR in my 02 Silverado, but the combo of the pillar and dash hump blow.
-
Everytime the cable company takes down their network my IP address changes. Takes a couple hours of IT & my time each time.
-
I'd prefer a dedicated business line. Guaranteed both directions. Would pay $80-90/mo for that. Also pretty sure I could get someone else to pay for it
-
Happens both wired and wireless btw. Also effects all 4 pc's, phones and tablet the same.
-
Have you tried different browsers? Yes. It isn't repeatable when it happens. Fine now, but I am sure in 10 minutes I'll be pissed again.
-
Costco pricing is WAY cheaper than that. LIsted on their site. **although I can't promise to have any idea what channel F1 might be on. Their biggest package wasn't even $90/mo though.

Century Link bundles with DirectTV, but I can also do it all separate. That sounds like the best option. Was DSL variable? Figure my conversation tonight will get me out of any long term contract and they have a 30 day trial. Almost setup an install to do a back to back but they wanted my social security number and I said no. They then told me I needed to pay a deposit today to set it up. I said fine, show me the contract, I'll read it and then make a deposit otherwise no deal. Then the bastard said the deal he offered he can't promise will last and I almost lost it. That sales tactic is reserved for time share bullshit, not real companies.

For instance, right now I am getting a ping of 112ms and uploads of along with downloads of so fucking slow Speedtest.net keeps erroring out.
-
Just don't. You are already bitching about speed. I used DSL for 3 months... FUCK THAT SHIT Their guaranteed speed (which I have in writing, lol) is faster than what I get pretty much all of the time except during the day. When I want fast internet (ie at night) the cable takes a dump.
-
Comcast is our cable company. I get 30Mbps down and 8Mbps up and home phone for 62.00 a month, just internet would have been $10 more. So for the savings I have a home phone. I know it makes no sense. I will not give up my directv, even though I fight with them a lot over pricing. Good experience with DirectTV then? From a home automation perspective it is WAY better for me.
