$1350 should be a $200k house which the last time I looked you could buy in FL...

$4/sq ft or so to refinish wood floors. Do it 5 times and replace the floors at $10/sq ft. See why there is carpet? The beauty of near beach is you can use tile which is a lot more robust. Up here people would be like WTF? Tile in the Living ROom???

The voltage doesn't drop so something is wrong??

Running anything with the three letters SMD will only decrease your overall intelligence. -

I'd go listen to some things or expect you will change whatever you buy. Your choice. And yes, the Pio is worth the price difference. -
Yes, fuck you. Yes

Are the Seymour Duncan's active pickups? Imagine that made a big difference. Love the blue color with the cross hatch pattern! The chrome doesn't suck either. Very sexy!! They are passive, but no noise so I don't need active

Yep, Kreg Jig is the one to buy. Nearly idiot proof. Can even fully assemble the box outside with the kreg's, disassemble and then re-assemble in the trunk WITH GLUE.

Plus the finish on that guitar is fucking gorgeous, how could I not buy it? I love blue guitars and rarely see one. The transparent and deep finish set me over the edge. I looked at well over 5000 guitars before buying. Shopping in Japan is a guitar buyers dream. SO MANY choices.

I will still buy one without a painted neck and sell this one. I can sell this for nearly double what I paid and that won't change for the next 5-10 years. May even get better. Buying an oiled neck in Japan isn't a great idea as the humidity is so high. I figure this is a great interim solution. And of course the reality is the oiled neck mostly helps me on stage. Sweat and paint = sticky. While I am naturally hot off stage, on stage I am a sweat bomb. I don't really plan on getting on stage though so that is somewhat of a moot point. Of course, I am sure once I start playing I'll get on stage anyways. It is too much fun.

Insurance wouldn't cover that either...

And by different material. Generally speaking they are different tensile strength steels. Of course we are now seeing aluminum and even magnesium and soon composites. Either way, if you ever plan to sell the car if it isn't disclosed you'll be screwed if something happens down the road.

Functionally speaking he totalled his car. It is nutso how optimized the structure in cars today is. Here is a visualization for you. Each color is a DIFFERENT material chosen for bending, twisting, crushing, or other structural property. The goal today is to get as light as possible without creating a crash test concern. During the build of the Cadillac ATS, GM had a slogon "every gram counts". If you think you can take ANY structural component out and not have a negative reaction you are nuts. Every manufacturer is like this, they have to be. I spend a good portion of my time helping them reduce mass, not an engineer working on any car body that wouldn't absolutely shit at what you propose.

Ah, well if you were at the factory perhaps the collection was bigger than I imagined at first, lol. Thought you were at a store.

I found myself messing with a few Dean guitars today in the demo room. Their collection of current models, and vintage models/poor sellers is INSANE!!! The cost for a custom is insane, yet still cheaper than their top of the line guitar. J Collection, rofl. Wait until I post up some pics of the guitar store I bought mine from in Japan....and then relize there were probably 40 of them within a 1mi radius. FUCKING insane. On that note, some slightly better pics in ze next post.

I really wanna think that it would not hurt it much, being it is a performance oriented car I would hate to cripple it though. As of now i'm leaning towards not hacking the trunk and building in it or doing something smaller.it would fuck it up majorly. Cars these days have no extra material for which you can thank the tree hugging dipshits
-
That will weaken the car BIG TIME

Yes, because driving on LSD is fun

Of course it's an argument, there is no other real logic. I personally don't care either way, just find the lawmaking ridiculous...but it is like all things government.
-
I wasn't discussing the concerns in the process, just the reality. Of course that argument makes me chuckle as well. Before they could test easily to see if you were drunk they made DWI illegal. Some crafty company will pull their head out of their ass and find a way to test.

Some understanding of what you like soundwise wouldn't hurt. Sure you've been to an audio store and demo'd different things. Most likely if you are normal it wasn't just the most expensive you liked the best but also.... Curious in particular of what you preferred on the treble end of the spectra. -

Tons of good 7" drivers. Budget, mounting depth, processing, tweeter, active cross over experience all play a role in which one would be a good choice for you. Personally I'd take a Pio 80/88prs over the Clarion ANY day of the week. In particular for a beginner..and not because the auto tune works that is flat out useless but it is very straightforward to use. Neither is truly ultra flexible allowing the purchase of any driver, but depending on how long before you change things up that may not matter.
