And no way the Lincoln is optimized for turning...
-
I'd image your 5.3" sidewalls are acting about like my 5.05". 4500lbs vs 6000lbs truck sidewall strength versus car 285 vs 225 Am I nuts? I'm actually really frightened of 24's, but want less tire roll in the corners. You can feel them currently limit high speed turning. I mean no shit its retardedly heavy.

Winters have to be NOT chrome and cheaper...although nothing is super cheap when that big.
-
I am also having a hard time buying new wheels that aren't a different size. I've done it before, but boo. Need 2 sets of wheels...was going to run the stockers, but since they are shot they won't even make good winter wheels
-
AMusingly it is currently suspended softer than a Ford Explorer Sport, but also handles as well. I am sure adding some Nitto's in 285/305 will only improve the handling at some cost on ride quality. Currently running on 285/45/22 Sidewall height would go from 5.05" to 4.2" Sidewall height on my M5 was 3.8" I would like it a bit more sporty feeling than it is now.

20's won't clear my brakes
-
Which I've talked myself into acting like 40 series on both axles since the sidewall is the "same"
-
Will be 285's in the front and 305's in the rear. 35 series rear, 40's series fronts on 24
-
Stock is never big enough, but I don't want 24's either. Wish 23's were more prevalent. I'd do that for sure.
-
His truck would be a mess on anything but roads I think, based on his upgrades. AWD for him is only for the driveway I bet. 24" wouldn't be horrible. Valid points. I kno mine came stock with 18" rims and a option for 20". I have looked at rims for mine, but noting screamed out 'buy me'. J Mine stock have 22's...
-
I really want 40 series tires, but have to pick between 35 and 45. No way I am doing 26's but it is hard to find pictures of smaller ones...
-
Also on that wheel. $2300/set. Pic is 26's, but they are made in 24. http://www.exclusivemotoring.com/new/cars/cadillac-2/escalade-cadillac-2/customized-cadillac-escalade-03/
-
If so, I am liking them...now to price the bastards.
-
Not so sure those will clear my brakes though...
-
2nd one only comes in 26's WTF. 24's I am already scared of as they are 35 series tires. These come in 24's and are real similar though.

It is so much easier to see all at once.

Vibe on my actual truck can be found here, and fuck are they expensive. http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-CONCAVO-CW6-24X10-CONCAVE-WHEELS-RIMS-FITS-CADILLAC-ESCALADE-EXT-ESV-/331483860834?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d2dfa4f62&vxp=mtr

Stock Plat in flat: If it was a Yukon, these might work: These are cheap and trustworthy: http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=50 Chrome Black Cheap : http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/ptd/4902009208.html Bought here: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/ptd/4874874787.html If these weren’t 26’s they might look better These are winning right now. Wrong car, lol KMC Slide Lexani Johnson

I don't like black wheels, but if these had a bit more chrome Generally a fan of this wheel, but think the Escalade almost needs black or chrome If the spokes were inset I’d be happier I like these, almost stock looking but way less fake Stupid 26’s

You know renting is better than buying unless the area is absolutely fab. I wouldn't rent in an area that wasn't either.
-
And MK the fuck you was due to my lack of motion on shit. Snowmobile season took preference, but that was a joke. My wife leaves for a week tomorrow so I'm actually hoping I get a guys night to myself in the garage while the boys sleep. Having the house to "myself" makes it easier to be productive somehow.

Why do you assume it would be louder with the 6x9's added? I'll give you a hint, that is a BAD assumption.

You checked the coils independently but not how they are wired?
