Where are the offices located that you worry most about distance wise?Do a good chunk of those attending bring the wife and kids since school is out?How many people are you expecting to attend? Each of these dictates a part of my response.JAll men, Boston, LA, Detroit. Distance isn't that big of a deal as getting home on a Thursday night after 5 is the only concern. Easy to fly West. This eliminates the West Coast though. Has to be at least Mt. Time.I am thinking Reno, Boulder, Memphis, Louisville, and Miami.Reno- Shit to do after meeting, decent night life, hookers for the poor souls who want to spend on some strangeBoulder- also great night life, and smaller cities so the cost should be easy to work withMemphis- BBQ, Blues, and just one hell of a city. Tons of history tooLouisville- why not look into a place that makes some of the best bats used in baseball today?Miami- the beaches, bikinis.....enough saidI can see all these cities working, and being a good place to do a meeting at a good price.JTHanks J.Reno is way too far West.Louisville - baseball isn't a sport so... :PMiami isn't so "Central"Glad to see our lists interweave themselves thoughReno and Miami only made the lists as they are cities where a businessman can have fun relatively easily without the wife getting pissed, and they do cater to a good number of conferences and tour groups. Louisville only got he nod because the average American thinks baseball is one of the best things since sliced bread. I would love to reccomend Buffalo, San Antonio, Indianapolis, and St Louis as well. I won't for the following reasons Buffalo- shitty airport, not a great nightlife unless you are 19-27or want to drive into Canada, or have a thing for casinos. SA- beautiful city, lots to do, great airport. Shitty to drive around, and confusing as hell even with GPS Ind- Great city, great airport, not happy with food or hotels I saw while there last, a bit pricey too. STL- fun city, but kinda dangerous, not my type of place for a business meeting, but they do have a good bit of shit to do. Aside from location and a good price what else should the city provide? J ha funny. Indy is like a small shitty Minneapolis. Nice city but I'd host first

I really want the first ones. Amusingly they are lighter than the stock wheels once rubbered up. 2lbs less overall. Reasonable too at $1500 shipped....but they only come in that color or chrome I want polished or raw aluminum.

For me, #1 wins. #2 & #3 tie. If you ever chrome delete though, number 3 will look out of place I feel. 1 or 2 for me but I need to see them in the desired size. No way to see them in the desired size. Can show you about what the tire profile will be. It is even the truck from the first shot. those are stock reproductions in 24 with 305/35s on them.

I bought a craftsman expecting some day I'd break it, haven't yet. It is a solid handle. Personally the warranty is more important than the overall strength, but obviously I want no garbage. Is VERY unlikely I will buy new so a warranty is a moot point. I will buy a name brand one though. The head style is about the only real difference when comparing. The outer "c" style head seems more logical but most are designed with the "c" on the handle portion. Now you see my curiosity.Used craftsman is warrantied...

Putting on a company meeting the last week of June, would prefer it be someplace in the "central" us that is easy and somewhat cheap to get to. Any ideas? My thoughts so far are: Boulder, CO Austin, TX Memphis, TN New Orleans, LA Chicago, IL --> probably 86 this just due to price. Hotels downtown in the summer are awful and we need a meeting room

The third pic shown in the top post. The black with the (looks like) brushed aluminum wheels. Those look pretty damn nice IMO.JThanks for picking the $800 wheels (that is each not a set). Regrettably I like them in descending order of price. Aargh.Much like yourself, I seem to have expensive taste. You unlike me, have the salary to afford such a taste.I have champange tastes on a discount whiskey budget. The reason I can afford it is because I am too cheap to do so though. Want/need and will spend are very different in my life. They are VERY different. I look at all three on any major purchase. Hell its why I haven't picked up another bass yet.I want a custom fretless Dean jazz bass.I don't need a new bass right nowI can afford to wait.I was going to sell my other guitar...lol. Not sure anymore. At least not until I buy another. I mean hell, I ordered another wall holder today. I suppose I could throw the bass up on it, but I don't have time to relearn 2 instruments atm. That you don't. But it is nice to have both up. Remind me, what do you have for a bass? Saw what was a great Fender P-Bass that someon fucked up by adding a silver dollar to the body. Was a nice oiled body too, with AMG pickups. Fretted though. I had a Jazz Bass and an even sweeter Peavey but sold them in college. About 10 years ago I grabbed a used Indonesian Ibanez Gio Bass. Fundamentally it is a bass, that is about it. Actually plays nice after I dialed it in, but is far from a real instrument. Allows me to have one though with no investment.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Nope. My wheels are shot and leak like a sieve. Chrome rims are stupid (unless they are steel). Steel wheels are stupid (ruins comment 1). Since I have a performance flair on the Esclade I'd also like wider rubber. Now the "extra" funds somewhat pertain to your comment. ie, I can buy the TBSS wheels which are like the stock although better balanced for the truck (ie 6 spoke versus 7) and available in polished aluminum where the factory reps of the stock wheels are only chrome. So those are a no brainer. The pain is what if I spend a "little" more and what it buys me. This is the only question. Do I spend a bit more and get something that I feel looks better. Obviously $200 is a no brainer if I like them better, but going from $1300 to $3000 to get the clean 6 spokes in the link above I don't think I can stomach. I like them the best as well. If the ones on the top were available in "raw" aluminum I'd do them for sure as they are only a couple hundred more than the TBSS knock offs but look better IMO. Yuor reasoning on those is exactly my goal. They could almost look stock, but look a little too good for that to be the case.

    6th order series-tuned bandpass theory

Most companies that use Sysnoise invest 100's of thousands of dollars in it per year. It will pretty much model anything. That being said, I make a living out of verifying data from it and proving that it still needs experimental support (LMS/Siemens would agree btw). For what you want to model it would do it rather accurately and easily though. Complex multi-helmholz resonator design for intake manifolds and such it is great at. As for the merit you question, I can't back it up with math (haven't tried either as it isn't worth the effort to me) but am absolutely sure you are correct. As you know random trial and error in designs couldn't be more idiotic. I can guarantee that is random as well.

Wtf? How did it get away from you?#1 the system fucked me somehow.#2 I entrusted my assistant manager. It's. Combination of these things. Thankfully a lot of it was, short one thing and over another. I called my boss and let him know ASAP, he wasn't happy but understood as a bunch of it was these discontinued items that have been seriously fucking up my life. I also got it down to a little less than 2 pages in the end. I was able to track down errors. My new Assistant is brilliant at inventory, that's how we caught the errors. He also has the flu, so when I double and triple checked the work we found he had confused numbers or didn't know about something weird. #3 my warehouse fucked me bad. They skipped an invintory truck and still finalized it as if I got it. Jesus man. Sounds like the system is hating your ass. J Kind of, but Fuck 'em. I'm in the absolute top of the rankings in general and I'm training new management or getting more from existing staff than anyone. I manned up and took responsibility. No one's fault but my own, I should have watched my last assistant better. I made the assumption that a 60 year old with 20+ years in the biz was ready to handle it. You handled it the best way possible man. I am sure not only is your boss proud of you, he respects you more for having the balls to admit your mistake. J Indeed. I never come down on someone for a mistake in the past (as long as they learn for the future) but I will surely come down like hell on someone if they hide a mistake in the past from me.

Why would you do that? It's my job. That didn't answer the question really. More seriously yikes. What type of answer would you rather? It's the way my brain is hardwired. There was a call for staff to the max unit, so I run to help. No way I can sit back if there's a possibility one of may friends may be hurt or needs help. I work the segregation unit, so I'm primary responder for everywhere in the jail, as it's easiest for us to lock our unit down and run. Not to tout my own horn, but generally I'm the first one up and running when a call for help comes across the radio. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if someone did get hurt and I had sat back and not helped. I don't think anyone here knew you worked in a jail/lockup/prison.So your description made little to no sense. Ah. I thought most did. I know I've mentioned it before. Sorry for the confusion. Yep zero idea on that here.

I do exactly the same. Although the solution is allowed to just be an idea. I consider it my job to improve that idea. Sure you are saying the same though.
