    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Huh? The injectors were the faulty part. I walked into the 2011 knowing it would happen if it hadn't already. Apparently as those injectors go they put a lot of wear on the rest of the system. That is an absurd amount of money for injectors. No reason they should wear out either. The injectors were not built to what they should have been. Bad parts, or bad judgement on BMW. They were tested to spec...I know that for sure. Just wondering if their is an intrinsic design difficulty. Are the new ones different. From my week of reading up on the bm'ers I gather there is a bad batch of injectors from time to time. Some models used injectors other than Bosch and had problems was the only other thing I read. Either way sounds like a warranty might not be a bad idea with the cost of repairs on them. Maybe not a pig to drive, but a pig to service.Ah, I thought they were all Bosch in which case I would be surprised....of course depending on the failure.

Really? A few of my buddies who ride cross country love them. They ride enduro style bikes though... Yeah my father rides with a group that primarily ride BMW and they're always having shit break on their bikes, doesn't matter if it's a few years old or brand new. They all seem pretty content with them despite the fact. Classic brand loyal blinders? I'd have to say I've heard the opposite too, but too secondhand after your comments to belive

Hell my current truck is fucking ugly...and has a somewhat shitty interior. I gotta fix that!

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I don't get it. Women sure, cars, who cares. In particular if the interior rocks. Panamera Turbo S was the best accidental test drive I've ever been on. Ugly POS on the outside, but damn does your mind change after piloting one. Hell if I met a woman like that I'd marry her.

Fuck, sexy Seriously? Like the 6, it looks like a retarded turtle or Beetle. I thought so at first as well. Then I drove one. I look at them differently now. Pretty much my ideal vehicle except the cost.

It was just a little well done Seriously you turned that into dog food.I always cook steaks well done usually too, but he deffinetly cooked it to farWhy? It is not for flavor or moisture lol. I wouldn't even do that to hamburger. Pointless to eat a steak like that.Bet you use steak sauce too, lol.No i dont really like steak sauce, but I guess it seems odd to me to have a steak pink, or bloody. I tried tri tip the other day at a resteraunt and i asked for medium rare which is something i usually do not do, still a little pink, but was too chewyIts not blood. The pink juice is water mixed with a protein that tints the water red.You are really taking a chance ordering rare at most average restaurants. Most people cooking at restaurants are not properly trained. Think about it, how much is the cook making again? Oh yeah, around nine bucks an hour if they are good.Yeah, the chance is likely that you will have to send it back because they cook the piss out of it anyways. As for safe, generally speaking you can eat it raw.I meant medium well not medium rareThen it was inedible... The chance you're taking at most restaurants is that it is not cooked properly for the collagen to break down. Causing the steak to be chewy no matter how you order it. Raw is better than overcooked. I pretty much only eat steak at home though. Not a good eat out food. Let's see. UBER easy to cook, SUPER expensive in a restaurant, REGULARLY fucked up by cooks, hmmmm.

They aren't pigs and are still drivers cars. Super simple to fix/work on as well. Side benefit are also the really cheap parts.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

There is only ONE reason that FWD cars exist. They are cheaper to make. That is the exclusive reason.
  16. ///M5

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Your turn off is my turn on. I'd much rather have an RWD than even a AWD. So much more fun. Of course for a daily car and my driveway that means snow shoes but that is a good idea anyways. And no, a RWD Escalade would be stupid. The statement above needs to include the caveat of some semblance of weight balance. Honestly you are probably right. I am a form follows function person to a fault. That said if I bought a Bimmer the function is for fun!And RWD >>>> AWD for fun. In particular in inclement weather.

Downfall is they use EFILive. I want HP Tuners as they do Ford & GM.
  24. ///M5

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

My other problem is I basically trust Black Bear to do the tune more than anyone local. They support EVERY GM truck forum. Teamviewer into your truck and do it "live". Bonus would be I could record the session, lol. Sort of thing the visibility of being public couldn't hurt. In particular when I have questions.

$6900 + fuel & tune or there abouts. Needs same mods as 2.9L whipple and is magically the same price.
