Guess I just can't picture where I would need 1/8000th vs 1/4000th. Taking pictures of the sun at f1.4? I've never and will never use a shutter speed that fast. A detriment more than a feature IMO. And it's funny because generally speaking anything that helps increase the shutter speed is a good thing.
