    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I read they added that and quick charge...or so I thought. Oh well, there is a way http://www.aliexpress.com/item/QI-G3-Wireless-Charging-Receiver-NFC-Sticker-IC-Chip-for-LG-G3-Wireless-Charging-Case-Cover/1971193812.html

I'd completely agree on the exhilarating, same reason I ride a sled in the winter.

Clay lube. What should I buy long term? What can I buy locally tomorrow? I default to buying anything Meguire's or 3M in store, but they don't stock their detailer locally or I'm blind.

And I can't wait, want to experiment with different wireless chargers for the car. Hopefully something is strong enough to hide behind the cup holder. Probably wishful thinking.

Lowes used to carry "Peel&seal" I have seen people use this before a whole lot cheaper than you "sound deadener companies" the lowes peal and seal is asphalt based wile most of your deadner compaines are butyl based...Some of the deadener is asphalt based as well..But depending on your climate conditions I would think twice In doing your "home improvent" deadening..As if you live in a warmer climate you will be dealing with a mess, and will be pissing in the wind to keep it applied to your trunk lid.ect.. If you have the budget I would suggest a reputable deadener company and butyl based material.Peel & Seal is pointless in a car. Complete waste of money. He also asked for mass loaded vinyl NOT deadener. Two completely different things. To block sound you NEED MASS. No other way around it. You also "cannot" have any leaks so 100% coverage is the goal. You might also read I said I would not suggest this, being you took time to read the post You implied it was worthwhile for something, that it isn't. I clarified. Plus he has deadener NOT at all what he asked for. He asked for MLV which you could generically just term as ANY heavy sheet material. Deadener is really light and sucks at blocking sound.

The thinsulate really won't do all that much on the roof, it is just hard to hang decoupled heavy as MLV on the roof so something is better than nothing. The thinsulate is AWESOME in any transmission path like your pillars. Other cavities and such that sound goes through it is the ideal solution. You applied way too much deadener. It won't hurt anything. I've done it when I have it as well. Coverage for it can be somewhat small, but the MLV needs to be 100%.

Have to be industrial supply of some sort. Lead sheeting might also be available locally and if so saving the shipping may make a bigger difference than anything else.

No DVD drive on other computers to transfer it to USB stick? That's already done. Camera doesn't power on not in reverse....so I should try in reverse. Broke in the new foam cannon instead. Washed everything I own, lol. Truck needs clay BAD. Hopefully I'll get to that tonight. Going to need some significant correction too. Can't believe I haven't done that yet.

The sweet spot will always be the depreciated piece that you can flip after using for not much overall expense.

For most people I'd agree. Of course to me a phone is like a wrench to a mechanic. I literally get paid to talk on the phone.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

In no way am I saying that my way is the best way. Using your phone that way it can be justifiable, but its just not worth it to me to eat the depreciation. I bought my Moto X for $350 on a sale, then got a new one from Moto when they accidentally sent me my phone on a warranty return instead of my wife's. It will be hard for me to keep the phone past this year end (the 2 year mark for this model) but I'll probably rode this thing until it stops working. My next phone it would be nice to have it be waterproof for extra protection. What is real cost? IMO, Buying price - selling price. If you buy an LG G4 right now for $600 in 2 years I bet you can sell it for $350. Same as buying a $250 phone now that in 2 years you throw away.

Currently there are 3 companies bidding on sapphire screens for Apple...or as they call it, the fruit company. Making a sapphire screen that size with no aberrations is not cheap and the flaw detection is not to where a fruit company would be happy. I am also not so sure that it buys you that much beyond a fortified glass anyways. Doing some test work on sapphire now

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Why? Its whatever new version of gorilla glass is isn't it? Sure it is, but still isn't unbreakable. Non-glass screen savers SUCK I've never broken a screen and I gave up on screen protectors a few years ago. My current phone has a sapphire screen though and haven't had an issue. You have a Kyocera? I've been in the three plants that could have made those screens... You also carry yours in a big ass Otterbox as well don't you? I am a caseless guy and the thing to protect with no case is the screen. I've never used a screen protector before either as they look like shit. The glass ones however don't and will solve my biggest concern. I use to rock the Otterbox. I gave up on them a few years ago when I kept breaking the cases and clips. Yes, it is a rugged Kyocera Brigadier so that sure helps on the no case front, but I'm not easy on phones. I didn't have a screen protector on my last two? phones before this and never ran into a scratching problem on the screen, the wife and brother have a Droid Turbo with no screen protector and hasn't caused any scratches yet. I know gorilla/sapphire/etc screens aren't unbreakable but won't a glass screen protector shatter right along with the regular screen in an event that it breaks? I've never used a screen protector either. I've also never scratched a screen....but I did break a screen for the first time a month ago or so. Just leaned on something with my phone and keys in my pocket. A screen protector would have saved that wear for sure. A mild blow it would also save IF it were a glass one. A sacrificial surface in my mind if it doesn't change clarity and feel is absolutely not a bad idea. If it does, well then fuck it I gamble.
