Are you really wanting midbass? If so, those mids are NOT for you.You should really define what you mean by highs. Those tweeters will be blood curtling loud, but won't play hardly anything important in the audio spectrum. To be honest i dont know how to define it, i have 6.5" coaxial alpines now and would like a bass like they produce to be louder and get a little lower if possible as well as the tweeter on them to be louder. First step in improving it is defining it. The speakers you picked are generally speaking garbage and pretty useless.

After I changed the fluid in my transmission the problems caused by some shift overlap sleeves became worse. Flare on the 3-4 upshift when hot and seems like it catches on the 4-5 shift. $60 worth of valves fixes it. Just picked up my truck right now, my transmission is intermittent. Slipped out of gear on first WOT run, next 2 it didn't. Sounds like a valve/pressure problem to me as well?

Might as well call you Mr Condecendin I'm sorry you feel that way. In this case the OP was chasing details and forgot to start with the big picture. Regrettably that isn't unusual and even worse most forums cater towards letting people make bad decisions in particular if it helps sell products. You do realize this is also written. When text is written you have the choice to take something as condescending. In my case, I wanted the OP to rethink the first portion of his install and to make sure that was the right choice before going after the other questions. Nothing negative about my response. I started with a question. It's his car, he may very well have some information I don't have. The second phrase is a clarification stating what he asked is premature and we should address what he didn't ask first. There is no judgement in my post above. If you read it that way then you obviously have some predetermined notion that if you would disregard you'd see my posts differently. I surely won't hoot up and hop on some boneriffic brand following or encourage someone to buy something useless like the DD1, but I will hopefully encourage them to think. If whomever posts doesn't want to think then surely they won't like my responses, but that only they can help. -
You already have a 4th order. Exactly what your box is No such thing as rise. Impedance has a curve that includes up & down, always has always will. Whomever is guiding you or whatever you are reading has you confused. Tuned as high as you are you should be a lot louder. I'd suspect something is goofy in your setup. I'd start looking at everything all over again.

I realize that these are aluminum and plated, but have never heard of that. Also didn't think you wanted to subject aluminum to that much heat. In particular in a load bearing part.

I didn't realize you could PC in clear. Won't that suck when it finally cracks through? Steel parts PC'd in the salt up here don't fare so well once they get penetrated.

I've only ever shot clear on top of paint. I've always wet sanded. I hate orange peel. Perhaps (likely) I suck at painting.

Need CLEARCOAT! What do you mean?Seriously. . . I would have went with the Iroc style 24's Only made in 22's and these are like stock but not stupid. ie, 6 spokes to match the lugs and not 7 and no little cavities to catch garbage. Much cleaner.
