I have doubts on any of the small size high output lights actually running continuously for their given battery life, them guys will get HOT. Cradle actually may be better than using the 18650. I just like the fact I can carry an extra battery if needed. Sucks to be 5mi from home on a bike with no light after dark.

The tread looks like it wouldn't be worth a damn in any real rain.Biggest challenge for me is finding something that will perform properly in heavy rain, ride smoothly on the highway, and i'd like it if they at least looked somewhat nice. 18" rims on the truck as well.
