We are having crazy cold weather as well. Was 53 here yesterday morning. The summer has been absolutely gorgeous though. We've had almost no hot days, nearly no humidity and along with it the state bird has been hiding as I've only seen 2 mosquitoes all year. Pretty much been a consistent sunny 80 deg all summer. Today is going to be nice as well and no daycare so I am probably going to take the boys tubing.

No, fuck you.hmmmm... you aint fucking me fuckboy, but mike might take you up on that offer Just hide your dick in a sink and he will jump right in it. If your ass is on fire you see what you would do...That would be like saying you got hydriodic acid in your eyes and you would not rinse your eyes in a water fountain. You are manufacturing your meth wrong, you don't stir with your eyes.

It still now has gas in it from 3 years ago. FUCK ME.

So who was the one assuming? Yes my statement was ridiculous, but AHA it matches.
-
Lol ..No no not even close your assumption's sometimes makes no sense period..So I am not the only one idiotic I guess huh?Does the assumption own something?Either way, feel free to clarify. What is that suppose to mean? Please clarify..The first sentence is a reaction to your apostrophe. As for what to clarify, if I made assumptions then clean them up I can do it..I know I can. You saying I can't is a assumption last I checked period. I know I can walk to the moon.

Says the guy with the sub-32" waist. Not that I am saying much different as mine is down to 34

Not crying..explain how you think that?Perhaps you should take tense into account. Quit hatin bro for god sake.. Still don't get it. I said don't cry. I didn't say stop crying, unless of course you want to do what you said you aren't.

It is akin to me saying I am going to buy a $2M welding shop and do it a little part time on the side to make some money. If I get aggressive I'd maybe hire a guy to help with the work overload.

You posted on the forum wanting a reaction, don't cry when you don't get the one you wanted.

You can do whatever you want, but perhaps for once think it through.

ROFL. "Decent size farm" = HUGE investment. If you are raising animals and need to feed them:300 acres * $5k/acre = $1.5M3 tractors = $1MYearly fertilizer/seed/etc = $300kThat is minimizing expenses like hell and means you pay around $15k/mo for 30 years IF you can get a loan. $180k/yr in minimized expenses + hired hands means you will need to net $300k. Perhaps you should do the math on what local crops/animals can net that.I know what the expense would be I have no Idea why you feel you need to explain this to me..lol Math >> you

You do everyday, just not usually the way you'd want to.
-
And we don't think you are joking, just idiotic.

All that investment to make less than $100k/yr makes it tough to hire a hand. They all also had the advantage of starting out with nothing when nothing was okay so the investments happen a little bit at a time. Cash crop land rents here for $100/acre for grain, $400/acre for corn/beets/etc. Getting a return on that is TOUGH.
-
Or you could do like the other side of my family and cash crop. Average acreage they farm is around 8,000. That land is cheaper, something like $2k/acre but the investment in tractors is much larger.
-
There is a reason that family farms are shrinking and corporate farms taking over. Unless you have money it is hard to make money. And as for investing in the farm if you have that sort of dough you should really look at other things to invest into.

Guess it depends on what you call LOTS of work. LOTS of work will probably be viewed differently by somebody that gets to sit at work even if it is not much at all. If I had to guess IDK. Plus thats why you hire hands. My whole family farm. I grew up in a family business that is all manual. I know what work is. I also have a ton of friends that farm. Some make good money some don't. Guess what the difference is?

slow, eh?

without LOTS of work
