3rd one in 2 months?

Lololololololololol That's prescious. Good rule of thumb though. Then you do a wedding built before Christ. Or a funeral or some such. No flash, lucky if you can spot or use a light bar.... That is what a tripod is for. Remember I don't usually shoot people. I let ISIS do that.

So I don't mean for this to be a vs thread but..........

I understand completely. I'm getting old though. Makes me worry a bit less about a dollar here and there in the now, but more how it plays out long term. I've found that supporting companies/products/forums that support an interest I have makes service and support well beyond anything else. So much so everything that is important to me I pretty much buy off the internet. Hell, even the tuner for my car is remote via the net. I've met and/or spoke to the owners of SSA multiple times. I'd never hesitate to recommend that they are great people to do business with. The drivers are pretty sweet as well. -
I rarely shoot higher than iso 100. Really try hard not too

I should add I HATE christmas music. Played in a traveling orchestra for 4 years and we got booked like crazy around Christmas.
-
My wife may punt on me for the show. Has colleagues in town. If that is the case, I'll take my dad.

I want to eat my shirt. Mmmm, BGE & Ribs

How would you choose if they all had exactly the same capability? It isn't exactly the case, but it may put some perspective on your choice. Personally when splitting hairs I would have a tendency to choose whatever I would know I would have the most exposure to the owners with. -
For instance, stupidest song ever but when he plays it sounds fun.
-
Excited to see Tommy Emmanuel next week in particular since it is Christmas songs. I need to get my boys singing as they are old enough and playing Christmas songs the normal way is boring.

In the sled's case it is to prevent rubbing and wear. Shit is tied the fuck down as I beat the fuck out of that thing.

Auto white balance is SO bad
-
But that is because before it took so long I didn't even bother
-
It didn't speed mine up it slowed them dowb
-
Gimp is free photoshop, but it is NOT useful for picture corrections. For flat out editing it rocks, but for what you need (ie adjusting the white balance + on EVERY picture you shoot, Lightroom is the ONLY answer)
-
Lightroom. Lightroom. Lightroom. Photoshop is better but it's slower and you need to know more to the most out of it. Lightroom is basically a digital darkroom. Noise can be cut or made to look pleasant in seconds. Lightroom is what I have been looking at. I'm hoping I can get a school discount, but I know my current laptop will not properly support it. J Lightroom is really the only choice. It'll run easy on your 2010 laptop. I have PC's that are older that can deal. Obviously keeping your catalog smaller and not expediting wciked editing speed will be a reality, but it shouldn't have any issues.

It is big and ugly, therefore I call it the Big Ugly. Not sure what the Cadillac crew was smoking when they designed it. A few very minor changes and the truck could be nice, but alas no cigar. If you'd prefer I call it the Gross Ugly using a play on French I could on here, but the rig has been named.
-
Amusingly I traded cars with my wife today too. I asked her how driving the Big Ugly was and she complained about its size for a few minutes. No comment on the motor, suspension, brakes, lol
-
Odd design. I assumed a stock lower with a stock rail. Try bending the bracket down, perhaps? Understatement. It is lame. These aren't them but the brackets and mechanism are identical. I've got them as tight as they get. Hopefully that isn't angling them too much. Would be not so funny if the cure was to attach them with less pressure. Hope it stays down this time.

I have some black ones, but they aren't anywhere near as strong as those. Not sure where I got those white ones but they are uber tough.
-
Used to bug me, but if you think that is an excessive use of zip ties you should see my snowmobiile. Probably 150 of them, lol
-
And yes Ryan, even though this pic is old my fuse is still zip tied to the truck.

And of course the side underneath the weeny throttle body
