Couldn't agree more on the go tigers part of the comment though.

Holy hell does it look like a boring game.

Holy run of bad automotive luck! Story of my life. Remember my expedition that never ran? Indeed. Time for a Chevy... I don't think he is looking for worse luck

T-lines are pathetically pointless in a car. Absolute waste of space. As always, the question of space is the FIRST question you need to answer. What the max dimensions you have to work with are. I'll also add that trying to achieve big bass with little drivers is a bit backwards. Be careful where you gather internet information as someone is misleading you elsewhere... -

Did you disconnect the battery before the swap? If so, then you just need to double check your wiring. -

We need the lake to freeze so I can give my boys their snowmobile. I rode it around the yard again today, lol

Need a shower. Biked to pick up my 4 year old from daycare today. He said the trailer was too bumpy on the snow though so he isn't sure he wants me to pick him up again. Probably better on the recumbent, but the damn tires throw up so much of the ground I didn't want to do that without a facemask/goggles for him.

Coming into my hood? Thanks for the warning. <-was just about to shower to go to bed

WTF? Couple hours?? That's BS. Btw, don't hit potholes.

Vinegar if it pulls no color on the target isn't a bad additive.

I took it as you spilled no liquid, but the car smells. That I'd ozone. If it is a spill you need to fix that first obviously. Whatever it is should be water soluble so a detergent and water is fine assuming where you get wet can get wet. Hard bristle brush and a shop vac and you are golden. Probably embarrass what any professional would do here that I know of.

Isn't said error in my quote? It's random, but yes I have seen it in your quotes, too. I was being sarcastic about not seeing errors....

Going active this time : how to protect the tweeters ?
///M5 replied to Notorious97200's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
And stop worrying about 8ohm or 4ohm. In mids that is a ridiculous discussion where the 8ohm drivers regularly sound better and are louder. If you can't find the Fs of the tweeters you could also measure their current crossover. Just play sine tones through the crossovers and find the -3dB point You could then use that as your baseline although to be safe I'd add a little to it at first. If you are measuring it, I'd also measure the slope. Find the 3dB down point, drop an octave and measure again and see how many dB it is down. You'll then know the slope. Caps are a waste. Not sure how/why that is on the website. Anything extra that creates an anomaly AND a phase change in your signal path is a mistake. If you are really frightened what you could do at first is just run the passives you have on the tweeters and not on the mids. This will get you going and then you can remove those and start playing. It would make it a nice a/b comparison for you to hear what a tweeter sounds like without a mid to make sure what you are matching is comparable. Continue to post up your thoughts/actions. We'll help you through it. -

Tube shit out on you? My guess, I didn't rotate it so I could see them as I was jamming only briefly in between conference calls.

Sexy. My tube amp decided to not turn on nice today.

Yep, me too. I needed something while I shopped and bought those. I've never replaced them, lol. Hardest thing for me is fit in my monster sized ears and they aren't great for that but if I push them in they work. If I spent anymore it'd be for custom ear inserts.
-
And yes that is what I use. Not saying they sound great, but they sound fine. Pretty much my airplane solution. Doesn't suck they work as hands free at the same time. I think they were $4 when I bought them. As long as they fit tight in the ear they are really acceptable.
