A lot if you are playing back live tracks and have separated the songs even though they are one. Drives me nuts that you have to buy a Kenwood deck to get seamless playback, WTF?? The Ipod delay would bug me as well. What I want for Christmas: New deck that plays DVD discs with FLAC format and seamless playback. Also needs time align, 4 way crossover, and a 7 band Peq. It would actually get me to buy a new deck!

We'd like to see pics of both!

Happy Birthday and may the fate of the 151 put a big smile on your face and a little luck in your bed.

Nothing really ... just a little getaway. See if I can *try* and relate it to work somehow (without actually doing anything work related on the trip)- get a company car and ratbag the thing there over the highway I've got no problem doing 75mph over a mountain pass in a newer Chevy with a 3.1L or 3.4L engine. Ah, I was trying to imagine what in March would bring people to Alberta other than for a getaway...
-
what are you planning on doing in Alberta?

WTF is that??? I don't think so. Curb him!

I had read the sig, but had to look it up since I didn't know Thought I would post the other things that I had thought of first (except the restaurant which I found while looking for a place that didn't exist or at least talk of it).

Are you gold, a fish, a car, an imaginary place, a city, or a restaurant?
-
Hmm, thought some translations are in order: eldorado = El Dorado = el dorado el dorado => the gilded one translated from Spanish el dorado => the dolphin fish, also known as Mahi Mahi in Polynese eldorado => a GM vehicle of questionable luxury merit eldorado => n : an imaginary place of great wealth and opportunity; sought in South America by 16th-century explorers el dorado, CA => a place stuck in the middle of nowhere off pleasant valley road trying to be a part of Sacremento El Dorado Resturant => some Mexican dive in Palmdale, CA that serves food and live hair band music

what's with all the edits?

Loud cycles never bothered me, and I truly think it saves lives. When I drive around on my Honda I feel like every tom, dick, & jane is going to cut me off and surprisingly often they do. People tend to crowd non-loud bikes as well. I flat out ticket loud behaviour though. If your system is making houses nearby hump, you should not have it bumpin like that when you drive through a residential area. Same with a bike, if you are revving it at all to add to the noise, you should be cited as well.

I will join you in loathing Walmart, but for completely different reasons. I just can't stand to go into a store that makes me feel like I am in West Virginia or bum-F-nowhere in Missouri (perhaps other Southern sourspot locations as well). That and the average IQ of their hiree's make the whole experience downright painful. Luckily there is not one near to me so I don't have to go. Target is so much more palatable, and I am addicted to HD and soon Lowe's--one is opening in a couple of weeks near me--but mostly for home projects. I like the art store for F'glass. Cheaper than Walmart and wax free too.

Oooo, /\TOP in the morning.

Crazy brits, tryin' to destroy a ol' TOyoTer and didn't even get one with the 22R which is indestructible. I almost didn't watch the end stunt cause I thought they were done, that would have been a shame.

They are supposed to be up for sale any moment. Are you going to notch out the gain at 5k'ish? I am thinking about those for my truck as well and go back and forth on what to pair them with. Do you know how high they can be crossed? I thought they couldn't be crossed that high, which deters me from buying them. Im thinking about the 7", so I can just plop em in in place of my extremis. We shall see. I have no experience with them at all, but am led to believe that just under 2k without a notch is just fine. I haven't spoken or heard of anyone running a filter on a pair, but being the breakup is at 5k ish you should be able to go higher if you knock down the peak a bit. Or design some seriously crazy sloped crossover.

Where are the tires?? Wow, they are thin. Did you have to upgrade your brakes to get the Jeep to stop with the extra weight?
-
Nice to check ye olde crossover points with. Does WinMLS allow you to use National Instrument cards? Not quit sure. It's not on the list of incompatible cards, so I would assume so. You can download the trial version of WinMLS and try it out first. Cool. My work PC can do FFT's and 1/24 Octaves, but I'd like to run an MLS excitation as well. It has an NI card with 20MHz of f. response and 24bits so it should work well.
