After much toil yesterday I am finally willing to post some pictures of my car. I spent all day in my buddies heated garage with a case and a half of beer and a buffer . The car was almost orange when I bought it, but I think it looks red now. It is amazing what removing the swirls and oxidation will do. So here are some pics of my ride, this time the exterior only.

Perhaps I can get 1" around if I put it in at an angle which would give me mostly an 1" for the pole vent too. I need to go get a piece of 8" pvc cut to 5" and play around.

For the same money, I'd just get a better 15. I prefer single sub setups period though, but also have a fascination with buying a new Rli 8.

Not much of a question really, go for the mod!!

DC Ammeter Recommendations
///M5 replied to ///M5's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Ah, boo. Was looking for a clamp as it is super easy, but they seem to only measure down to 1 amp. Guess using a cheapo in series is what I will have to do. Thanks for the help. -
DC Ammeter Recommendations
///M5 posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
My battery keeps dying and I think I might have a parasitic draw. To simplify the troubleshooting process I would love to buy a DC ammeter that can measure 10mA to 500mA+. According to the M5 owners group 20-30mA at the off and settled position is normal. Since I am buying one it would be a cool tool to measure current going to my speaks as well. Anyone have recommendations on where/what to buy?? -
Battery Recommendations

Regretably in the great white north we don't have kinetic or odyssey dealers, but do have Cabela's AGM batteries. They are made to be beat up in boats and power trolling motors which are akin to large stereos in current draw. So would you get one of these? http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/li...ch-results1.jsp Over the Interstate? -
Congratulations, cute baby great name!

Not pleasant. Had Laser surgery myself and rely on eye drops to get around. Could be worse though. Oh and the sidebar is that now that it has almost been a year I need it a lot less.

I finally posted engine pics for ya. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...opic=5044&st=15

These were requested before, but better late than never. I finally installed my hood struts so it will hold itself up...makes taking pictures that much easier. The engine is a bit dirty, but it is winter in MN so it will stay as such until spring or a spring like day.

Gonna be hard to make it stick to that "even" surface as well.

Unless you can *perfectly* measure the volume in your trunk and it happens to be *just right* you really can't port an IB setup. Plus your tuning would change everytime you put anything in your trunk. You can fire your sub and port directly into the car from a box though. In which case you can either build it in the car, or build it externally but have it fit so you can bolt it in place where the port and cone fire directly into the passenger compartment.

Outside cleanup, ha?? The dust will blow away. I just pull mine through the garage door into the driveway and rip away. It ought to be fun today, I am building a mantle for my fireplace and have chosen to cover it in MDF first since it is such an easy surface to work with. Gonna bolt the MDF to the brick and then glue/brad the mantle up. Should really help hide the fasteners. Will post pics when I am done.

I've studied the night before for all 3 midterms this quarter, but I admit they weren't that hard. It's so hard to study long in advance b/c by the time the test rolls around, I'll have forgetten what I studied a week ago. Thought that was supposed to be how college worked
