I thought the Koni's were 1.5" lower, they solve both problems. Jim, have 31 BFG's on my Ford too.

You could just embrace it and go for this look: http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=2/5121451478.jpg&s=x402

You win by default if your opponent cuts his car in half on a pole.

If you buy the MAG you will never ask yourself if you should have. I know if I were you and bought the SX, I'd always wonder what that extra $100 would have bought me and probably regret it just because I wouldn't find out.

Flex fit do not come even close to fitting on my melon. I look like a big guy in a little hat when I put one on.
-
I had no idea these existed, but am having an even harder time imagining who would buy them.

lots more quiet.... = more perceived midbass; cars generate tons of destructive and interfering 50-300Hz noise

7 5/8 for me....beat that That is about where I am at, but some of those hurt. Sucks too all non-fitted caps on the biggest setting then are 2 inches above your ears.

Sawz(everything but what you really need it to)all Cutting torch ftw or go ghetto and just heat 'em up

I run most of my setups free air in the car. You may have seen my 86 Pontiac 6000LE with the Pioneer 6x9's sitting in the rear deck. Totally sweet sounding. Seriously though, it sounds like you weren't sealed so well before. Is that possible? That or some psychological switch?? Can't really explain why it would sound better. Drive it again and make sure. I am curious to your impressions of the 2 8's versus the 12. Will they both be in at the same time?
-
Actually it was an SLR, they state it on the news, your news.

I have to ask what a ghetto coilover setup is

Bought 2 huge hunks of maple today. 10"x1.5"x8' and 11"x.75"x8' going to build a mantle, but made me think of covering my next box completely in hardwood. I don't like to finish corners well enough for ply and veneer is veneer.

This I built with a router, a skilsaw (for length cuts only), and a $20 sander. Bought the boards of the right thickness and size straight from Home Depot. http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=2/5118283965.jpg&s=x10 Glass wasn't cheap though.

I just meant mod it a bit. Someone around there has to be okay lending you a router real quick.

SOrry about the rapid whoring but I have to comment: You didn't respond with the how fast you can read a product spec sheet and not only learn it but actually understand what it says. Whenever you get a no, push your strengths. Sucks with your purchasing toils, I know the feeling and therefore pretty much shop exclusively online and have to read the subjective non-sense before making a decision. One of the reasons I really like this site...

Got MDF? Route and paint a slab and set it on your current stand to put it up to the task.
-
It just isn't justice. I'd only try at a real hi-end place that pays comission though. I think you will find you do much better at that anyways... Then if they don't hire you might need a little help selling yourself.
-
Your concern over a 1.5" drop is unnecessary unless you will have rub-a-dub issues. If you do and it is on the inside you can get offset spacers and move it out a nidge.

If he hadn't I would have. I am sure that guy is a duche in person as well.

As I said, "clever". Of course, being way beyond the B.A. limit in a million dollar unregistered car is brilliant.
