Ooops, different kind. Can't wait to hear more about the build up!

I've got a megasquirt.

Aaron, Which facility do you work at? One of my college buddies might work near you. The layman description of what he does is satellite programming...he is Blaine Nelson. Just thought this world might be small. Steve, Any of the machines you are looking at won't feel slow. They all can do what it sounds like you are trying to do. Enjoy! Plus, Justin's advice = teh good.

Or use a square to clamp another straight board along the edge. I have an 8' piece of mdf that I keep just as a big arse straight edge. Works great, I ripped $250 worth of Maple with it for a mantel last night. Nice work anyway...

Well my dumass can't seem to find the check box to allow the admin to send me email. Denim of course you can...

Thin plywood, expansion foam, plexiglass and so on. If you aren't putting them in an enclosure that is sealed or ported you should do your best to make them an infinite baffle install. The better the sealing off of the back half of the door from the inside the better it will sound. It won't hurt the road noise either! After sealing it all up using sound deadener will then bring them to life.....making them truly IB and deadening will do a LOT more than upgrading your amp to solve your "flatness' problem. If you want to see an example of doing it right, here is a good write up: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27

Just as long as it isn't babychit green. Then you know you were drinking too much Grain Belt Premium, that stuff is terrible but gives everyone the baby chits.

More memory is sort of better, but faster memory is WAY better. If you don't use any applications that use more than 512mb then your cpu will run a little bit faster with only one stick of ram....unless it is a cpu that is meant to have a matched pair of ramsticks. It is one of those things that if you are going to do a gig you should buy the whole gig all at once and not upgrade a 512 pc to a gig. Making sure the RAM is identical helps.

Not trying to sway into something you don't want, but it is amazing how much nicer a docking station and monitor is than any laptop monitor. How about saving some money and doing something like this: http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...3382&pfp=BROWSE

Glad your okay, other people are definitely scary when riding on a bike. I stopped riding mine towards town and now just ride West.

I'd ditto on the smaller screen. Laptops turn into shoulder mongers once you get a big screen. I used to have one with a 17, but have now "upgraded" to one with a 14" so it is much smaller and more portable. At my desk I plug it into a 17" flatscreen. Typically now you could probably get a 19" screen and a 14" laptop for the same price as one with the 17" built in.

You let your girlfriend drress up in USPS boxes and get punched? Weird. In the second and third video, she looks sooooo ready for battle. That is quite the package protector. Sort of like sock stuffing...

PE FTW! 1m = $15.84(US), 3m = $20.72 Part 181-730,31,32 (1,2,3m)

Hope it isn't that either. You do deserve at least a few years of symptom-free living.

Regretably, my Denon DCT-3500 is dead and gone. However, I really like the idea of 5 channel amps but being that "5" is one character they are really hard to search for. For ease of installation, space savings, and for a dedicated set of drivers a 5 channel fits real well (read the woman's car). Thought I would start a list and ask that everyone list anything else that they might use. Denon DCT-3500 -- 35wx4 @4 80wx1 @4 NeXt VRZ 500.5 -- 70wx4 @4 240x1 @4 Kicker KX700.5 -- 40wx4 @4 200x1 @4 Alpine MRV-F450 -- 30wx4 @4 150wx1 @4 SoundStream Van Gogh VGA800.5 -- 50wx4 @4 200wx1 @4 So far the NeXT is winning by specs, but thought there has to be other options.

In that price range it is going to be hard to beat out the Orion.
