You really need to stop being so aggressive, lol. The speakers came with the boat. Being they are exposed to the elements 8mo out of the year I haven't felt the huge urge to replace them. They don't sound good, don't sound bad, the stage is a mess, but hell it is a wakeboard boat. Most of my listening is from behind the boat with a huge noise source called a motor playing music as well. That being said, I did upgrade the JL sub to an SSA Xcon. I've had a ton of JL stuff. Not one single piece of it did I buy new however. No way, no how. Currently they are very far from my "want" list as well irregardless of price. The w6 is truly great, the rest of what they make EASILY trumped by things much cheaper. As for the dick comment, think what you like. If you post nonsense I will call it out. I want to test drive both the 18 and 20 before. Stupid DOT/Coast Guard tiller regulations for under 20' suck. 90hp on a nearly 19' boat is not enough. 17' with 90 okay, but still when the same boat can have a 225hp without a tiller that stinks. Not trusting the work around of adding a l/r button on a handle to declare "remote steering" either....but a hydraulic assist tiller is as effective as a wheel. Will wear you out more, but shit oh no.

I need to build a garage stall first though. I am not mooring another fishing boat. Easier to trailer and launch it than carry my shit down to the boat.

Beware of non OE recones as they could drastically change your speakers parameters and make the box you jave worthless. Really some goop until it is worse makes the most sense.

It is irrelevant how loud one of the two is without the other. The btl can take that amp as well. The math of power, cone area and output obviously allude you.
