To make it easier on yourself and use a bit less resin, try mopping the resin onto the mat on a piece of cardboard and then transferring it to the kicks. Push it down with a wet brush and do the next piece. It is the mat that is strong not the resin, the resin is just heavy. Those are going to be sweet!

If you had a brand other than the Kenwood, I would just wire up the new harness instead of disassembling the old as it will be cleaner. Use some wiretires to keep that chit neat too. Why the x889?

Looks great, especially for your first. If you haven't, make sure you reinforce the fleece a bit those RE's will make it flex otherwise.

Well it depends, on first glance I thought it was a cowboy hat style buckle; but on second I thought it might be dress belt size. If it was dress clothes size I'd wear it to Bm'er club meetings as a joke for $7. Also would be a sweet Halloween accessory for some dumb costume. looks like a dress belt. Bm'er club= yes Public= no Agreed, can't get much over $10 then though.
