you should have taken pictures How do you buy just nine of those drivers? 10 I understand, but 9? Was he running it on the ceiling channel?
-
i wish i would have waited now: http://forum.elitecaraudio.com/showthread....threadid=133248 maybe i'll buy it for the car.
-
almost like anything that comes in a bag or a can
-
If I had to run that in my car, I'd be so embarassed it would have to hide in a band pass box. Not that there would be a reason in hell that I'd be in a situation where I had to, but nonetheless.

Are those actually good?

help with crossovers

Where do you normally cross your subs? Most MB run from sub range to about 200-300Hz so you might not miss them. Actually I wouldn't use them. I was actually wondering where you were going to put those 8 tweets? -
And an eDuh shirt to go with it, perhaps with someone defecating on Ben's mug.

Definetely just ran active, then you don't need to buy anymore drivers. Where are you going to fit your big line array? -
Are the comps actually 3ohm or is that just their DC resistance. If so the impedance will be higher and everything should be fine.

what kind of car?

U-haul is nuts. They won't rent anything to tow behind an Explorer. The only troubles you'd have towing are wheelbase issues with a long trailer, the rest of the truck would be fine. Of course this recommendation comes from a guy who used a 300cu in 6 cyl Ford to tow a 15,000lb boat. Mind you never on the interstate, but wtf if you are smart enough to understand how to keep it from dancing and realize it is behind you everything should be fine with your truck and even a pretty long car trailer. Your CRX will be close to 3000lbs once your gear is in it though. The only car I've ever owned that was near 1300lbs was my 59 VW Beetle. Stripped and cal look, 1230lbs without the stereo that never made it into the car.

Please elaborate. I dont really understand. He is kidding (i hope). Sealing up the gas leak with the caulk stuff they use to seal bathtubs (i think that is what he is talking about). I was not kidding, but wouldn't recommend it in a place near decent vacuum though as it will suck it in, also can't be anywhere hot, or under too much pressure. For instance though if you have a small hole in your gas tank a washer, sheet metal screw that is slightly thicker than the hole and some bathtub sealer are the bomb. It will harden when wet, even with gas and doesn't dissolve via petroleum distillates. On any area of the manifold that is pulling vacuum again though I wouldn't recommend. The carb gasket should be like $5 and cheaper than a tube anyway. If not, the gasket in a tube is okay for there just don't use too much.

Right now in particular I completely concur.

Ok, sorry but I have to say it one more time way too many drivers. It may be loud, but if you really, really don't care about SQ just get a PA horn tweeter and put some serious juice into it. It will be louder than the setup you have outlined above and probably sound better. -
do NOT tell me you both are chicken and don't want to break in that garage... you could call a locksmith (sp?) if there is a will there is a way B) I could get you in.

Oh my god, I just opened the smoker and I want to eat the brisket now but it won't be done for another 4 hours.

Ugh, off to the dentist for a deep cleaning.
