Bringing back memories man I was one hell of a saleman as a child . My teachers swore I was gonna grow up to be a car salesman . In the second or third grade ( mom's not around to ask ) I was facinated by electricity. one day after about 5 or 10 minutes of persuasion I convinced a class mate that sticking his keys in the wall outlet would make the lights go out and we could leave school early. He acted kind of scared at first and shove one of his keys in the hole. He was surprised it didn't shock. Then he happily and rather quickly stuck in the other Besides wetting his pants and a bad hair do , no harm came to him . But I sure got my arse handed to me a couple times that day Same thing was said about me, of course my first post college job was selling cars. LOL.

Like tanks. They didn't by chance sell new covers for them did they? My plastic is teh cracked. Some drunk doof fell on it in college. Luckily it was lowered and protected the tone arm though.

You could wear these when you drive: http://www.airwareamerica.com/index.asp?Pa...PROD&ProdID=121 Even though knocking out more than 23dB would even be better. -

I used to have a 30' Sundancer, but only owned half of it. Since I sold it 7 years ago I have been looking for a replacement. Hopefully by next year I can afford one. -
I still "think" its probably going to be okay as long as you are gentle....but with no I/S experience you shouldn't listen to me. Anyone used one of these at a lower impedance?

know? you taking notes from Chris again?

Chit, we got nearly 15,000 lakes and you still have to fight for a hole.

Nah, gotta go neck style . Tub it and dump a 302 or 351 in it. And race against the guys with the blown dusters But that isn't cheap and easy, plus your drivetrain will outweigh the car. Neck style indeed, but slapping a Pinto engine in a VW is pretty neckish as well. Just a slightly more dignified neck <---oxymoron

Had another thought for the "omni" build I am thinking of. Going with a 2/3" full range and an 8" woofer for the sub 300Hz. Would solve the issue of not having the tweeter and 7" driver completely on axis with the diffuser.

PA horns on a wakeboard tower...for the ultamite in ride & listen. Everyone else around might not like you though. Nope actually on a 31' Amberjack or Express hopefully. -
I'd give it a shot and make one for myself and for you, but don't have photchop.

I am going to use PA horns when I bulid my boat system for that reason. I will have normal tweets for listening but a set of uber ones for partying at the island. A little switch to go in between and I will have the best of both worlds, loud or good sound. -
*just exposed my redneck background* *again*

With a little mod those Pinto Bean engines can fit in an aircooled VW for a 200hp 1400lb ride.

If you really want to have fun, get the German bean conversion kit for the engine. 200hp in that little beast and they rip.
