Bigger trucks are easy to take through traffic. The trick is remembering that you're bigger than they are, far more intimidating, and most likely their vehicle is going to be more expensive to fix. I don't know about easier, the M slices through while my truck just gets everyone out of the way. If I want to be an arse, I'd actually rather do it in the M. The gas pedal helps lots when negotiating small spaces, brakes too.

In 50,000 miles of operation going from 35mpg to 25mpg costs you a whopping $1500 at that price. Who gives a chit about that, in the 900-1700 hours (60mph/30mph) you will be sitting in your car I'd much rather enjoy it and feel comfortable, hell its only a buck an hour.

If so, an SSA road trip is in order. I'd be glad to drive.

Warranty -- who gives. Buy a good car and be smart it will cost you less. How much "warranty" work actually gets done. You are reading what I said to literally. It isn't about the girl. Everyone who sees that car has a reaction, most of the time it isn't positive. When I see them I expect some broke 400lb couple to pop out of it. You will be judged by what you drive even if you don't care. Think about it, do you show off your system to anyone? ---I know the answer is yes meaning you are proud of it and want people to realize you are into audio. Do you pick what clothes you wear because you like the way you look in them? ---it may seem to you like it is just for you but it isn't it is for others, how else would you have defined "that look" if it weren't for seeing other people and liking/envying something.

Depends on what you consider an econobox... if you concider a Civic one, then by all means... But, a Neon is one of the most popular low budget weekend race vehicles out there, was when it was released and continues today. I consider a Civic one and a Neon, just definetely not Scott's. On the same note you could make a Yaris fast, but it would still be lame.

How did you fit?? I drove one for a week back when they first came out when my old car was stolen, I couldn't drive it for more than 20 min before my knee cramped up from having to drive with my knees around the steering wheel. I didn't get into it, I put it on.

And no, I haven't driven one but my Uncle's brother has an Echo which I have. The Yaris is sort of a refined Echo, but holy crap was the Echo a POS. He loaned it to me the last time I was near DC to drive around. I used Uncle's brother instead of Uncle since you guys know of his car collection and I find it amusing he drives AMG's & M's and his brother drives an Echo.

I was actually trying to be nice and use the third person more than anything. I just think little econoboxes are teh dumb. People buy them because they are cheap, but for the same money over time you could drive a 1999 Audi A6 or other similar vehicle that would be a lot nicer. Scott--your car is NOT an econobox. Two other sides of the girl comment above is that no-one really would/should be proud of that car. It is a cheap, teeny, barely form of transportation. I don't even understand why someone would buy one if the price of gas was $6. The other side is not picking up the girl, but making sure once you have one she can be proud of you. The picking up is easy...

Imagine a group of girls you know sitting around and talking, what you won't hear is "oh that Chris, I really love his car." If you buy one.
