Great bit. Now if you add some dust collection you are really set.

What sort of TL are they going in?

I agree with Ryan, hell just show him the post you just typed on here. I think it explains it well and it also is typed in a way that wasn't for him to read so it is perfect. Have him read it when you are standing there and be prepared to talk about it face to face. The truth may hurt, but not bringing it will hurt more in the long run.

I almost stopped back today as I drove through but didn't want to accidentally tempt myself into spending $300 again.

Matt wasn't looking at anything with a Rev motor, but the older series Scans which I just don't really like.

you bring it on yourself though -
Either that or for some other reason the level of coolant is a bit low.
-
I too say it sounds like you need to "burp" your cooling system.

Here is the only place I could find it, but the stupid hotel has crap for internet so I am using the crackberry as a whopping 115k modem. Boo! http://www.madisound.com/pdf/aurasound.pdf

NS65's...but I will go look.

I've had more troubles on my Chev with 85k on it that I did on my Ford with 360k. I am not happy about it either.

Then it won't stop the tunage.

Sorry R2, at least you shouldn't need heat for a few months. You could just loop the heater core hoses together and call her temporarily solved.

Perhaps not enough excursion capability or power handling, but they sure look like they could put it out. I dig the Aura's too.

buy it either way

Oh that is funny. I like your first pick better which you can probably tell from my reply (or from what is in my vehicles). My thoughts were reconfirmed this week though.

Much better than those Scans, even though I would have had Adam pull them out had I known you were looking at them. Either way the Kevlar Scans are just reconed versions of their old 18w which are pretty antiquated. I however have wood for those Nextels. You get the Excel motor, but without the Mag cone issues and of some of the fatiguing detail of the cone. Those are supposed to be the bomb. I bought my Excels right before they came out Of course the Mag cones/copper phase plug are sexier and will mate nicely with the 1189's for some bookshelves for my office! I don't think I'd hesitate too much (not that I have heard the NX's). A set are going in the car or truck when the Excels get yanked. The Peerless boner has now worn off on me after visiting Madisound. According to them tymphany has them all screwed up now. Sort of afraid they are going to turn into the DIY eD of home audio. Enough to make me ignore them. That pretty much leaves the Rev's or Nextels as the premiums and at this point the Seas is winning for me. Eton is going to have a new series of drivers soon. I imagine it will put them back in the running, but of course being German they to will be at quite a premium. I'd also like to hear those 6.5" Aura's, if they made an 8 I think there would be a diyma boner on them but the specs are still incomplete so perhaps not. Not sure why they don't list a power handling, they look beefy and have that sexy Neo mag too.
