what amp likes 16v? The Belle is rated for 9 sure, but I sometimes wonder on those specs... -

Do any of you actually have the t/s specs on the old JBL 1500GTI's? If not, I will measure them but would prefer a starting point. I "think" I remember the size and alignment it was in, but I haven't built a box for mine since 1993ish so the memory is a bit fuzzy. -
glad it is back up. I like the improvements. I started my jury duty today. I hope I get out next week like I am supposed to. Aargh.

Not going to be much help then are you. Neither am I, as I haven't even ever seen one.

If price isn't an object, I'd modify the mounting location to accept a bigger driver.

I assume when you bypass it completely everything is fine? -
That isn't odd, even when you overbuy with my friends that is when you know it is time to pass out. Make it through today and the rest will be easier.

Good morning and out. SUcks my phone doesn't work in the waiting room either.

Boo, jury duty here I come. Wish I ate with you guys last night, they'd never let me in the courtroom. I can hear the lawyer asking questions now. "Sir, do you have any preconceived convictions towards rap....holy hell what is that smell, who dropped one" *raises hand "You sir are excused, get the hell out of here"
-
You guys make me want to keep the M parked. Boo on the bad luck.
-
you guys are slackers

CEA is far from perfect. Do realize that you are if lucky going to get a 10% number which of course might be or not closer than the spec anyways.

How about a flush trim bit on your router?

I need a pre-amp and pretty quick. It doesn't need a phono stage, just a volume knob. Passive would be fine and perhaps even preferred. I don't plan on keeping it very long or if I do it will be relegated to office/bedroom/garage duty. Something that is already depreciated so I wouldn't lose on buying it would be perfect. So if anyone has any recommendations or anything for sale let me know. I am open to about anything. I would prefer to spend less than $300 but don't want something super disposable either. If there was a cheap solution, in particular that was portable that could be sweet too. The current application is just as a source (single) for the whole house stereo while I sell it. It will be connected to most likely satellite radio via an M-audio sound card.
-
I'd prefer not anyways, using a pc as a source I will have more than plenty of tuning options.

Sexy: Begs for big aluminum knobs though.

http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?pre...&1179463954 ?? I assume that would be a decent passive, but couldn't find details searching. *goes to google

I am an asshole. On purpose actually. I don't like stupid people and won't pretend to.
-
I am sort of Adcom'd out. If another one hit me in the face I'd bring it home though I suppose. Oh by the way, no such thing as too nice and my budget is flexible. If there were a reasonable solution for much less I'd do it, but if it is nice enough I may keep it for a while. It could become the office pre-amp.

Can't wait to see them finished and hopefully hear them someday.
