That thing is noisy as hell. Thermaltake lies like hell on all of their noise specs. I bought a 22dba fan from them and measured it in an anechoic chamber at 38dba. That is some serious bs, the squirrel cage is even worse. -

If you're hearing 12v fans over your subs, you've got bigger issues I disagree. Any background noise bums me out. You obviously don't listen to music with space in it. I guess...I tend to listen to music with...music in it You mean without musicians -
Aaron, Chit, just got your voicemail. Dave Zeckhausen is the "Mike" of BMW brakes. I highly recommend the Axxis Deluxe pads as they are nearly dust free and still stop as well as the OEM dust monsters from BMW. The standard plain rotor should be fine for your car as well. http://zeckhausen.com/BMW/E39.htm The other option for rotors would be from here, I am not a huge fan of them as a company but they regularly have good deals on other parts. For brakes I highly recomend Dave. http://catalog.alloembmwparts.com/?year=19...h_button23.y=15

Here is what I would use. Pretty much the quietest computer fan (as of 1.5yrs ago when I built my last pc). Super quiet, good flow and will run on 12vdc. http://www.siliconacoustics.com/nexus-120m...t-case-fan.html *note that was the first place I found them for sale today, probably lots of others. I'd highly recommend them as an upgrade to anyone with a 120mm in their pc case as well. -
IMO it would be a stellar location for an IB install; however using one of those square output bombs would not be something I could stomach. As for the Q12 I am not sure it will fit. Is that Kicker a 12? Do you have enough space for the baffle?

SQL is a ghey term someone came up with to describe something that doesn't exist. Either you want loud or sq they are inverses of each other. LSQ means you want SQ but are going to let it wang. From your posts I'd actually guess you want an SPL sub that you can run daily. There is a huge difference.

i have no doubt my wires are run correctly..my friend told me that if the grounded negative wire is touching the power wire then it can cause heating problems. Idk if it worked because i havent run it since i seperated them about an hour ago. That doesn't even come close to answering my question, how about I make it more specific. What gauge wire are you running and to what do you have it connected to? 5 guage from battery to fuse box to amp And your ground?

I love those little beasts.

As long as you got some action it is ok.

ha, when I read that I read that you have been on steroids for the past 10 years. A quick re-read straightened things out.

Completely stupid if you ask me. Why you would spend that sort of money copying an antiquated design with a non-original car seems a bit absurd. For the same dough you could have taken that completely normal car and turned it into something that is actually worth the money you put into it instead of just an orange turd with a big motor.

Is your only goal output?

I used to have an E36 328i. It was VERY easy to make 6.5" drivers fit in the kicks.
