My 8 is in .65 ported and sounds nice. Sealed I enjoyed it in .4cuft.

After getting an $800 bid to recover the seat in my bass boat, I am taking matters into my own hands. Partially cause I need it done now so I can sell the boat. This has me potentially motivated albeit at $5k less than he wants. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/boa/388228245.html

You do have to realize that the most popular albums from any of those guys will probably be their worst. If it says "Greatest Hits" or something similar I'd be frickin' scared. Good blues has nothing to do with what the average consumer likes.

The Mli65 are great little drivers and can be used up to 2500hz fairly easily. Bang for the buck is amazing.

Stop being in this thread and get outside and install that bish.

see, they never really get flat, I think that's just too few pixels on the screen. I'll just turn it up until I see obvious clipping, then turn it down conservatively because it's loud enough right now honestly and it's probably only seeing 400-600watts. I'm going to try the rear RCA outputs on the harness instead of the fronts and see if I can get a higher value than .4V for output voltage... -John Testing with a higher frequency is easier to see the clipping with as the peak will be shorter, unless of course that o'scope automatically scales in the time domain as well.

My favorite reply when people ask me if I am catching anything is to say, yep a few bullheads.

It is hard too as if they can't cast where you tell them, they can't put the right action on the baits, and the last thing I want to do is boat 10 and have them 0 out. The other way around would actually be fine to me, I don't mind if I don't catch if they are having a blast. I can fish vicariously through others. Now if I am fishing with someone who can fish, the story will flip. In that case, I want to outfish them

It isn't easy to find the long ones. Searching for a 22'er is frustrating. Probably a bit more patience on my end would be good, especially since I can't really buy it now. Or really, really shoulnd't anyways. Going to blow off the 2nd half of today and take my bro-in-law out on the boat. Curious to see how this goes as he has only really ever fished panfish. Been so hot the bite is going to be slow and I am worried that I will catch fish and he won't, even if I try to force the opposite.

I have too many things I want to buy to spend too much on any one.

Replacing all speakers in a 68 Camaro - need advice
///M5 replied to JeFFb68CAM's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
It isn't that he is bashing JL really, just what you get for the money. They make good stuff it is just really expensive and therefore it is logical to look for something else. A really good recommendation would be to go and listen to all of the options and then tell us what you liked and what you didn't. Otherwise recommednations end up being pretty subjective by the person recommending instead of blending that with what we think you like. -
The longer the straight the better, the rounder the curve the better. That stuff looks cool phillip, what is it?

Was my goal in the truck too, but I hit $1750 but I am not currently missing the extra.
-
That isn't easy. When you climb it is all legs normally, no arms.

Not my favorite color scheme, but it looks so good on that boat. In fact, I hate brown/tan on boats, but not that one. Personally I'd prefer a Merc 300XS, but the lettering on the engine does match the color scheme of the hull nicely.

I love this boat, damnit it should be cheaper!!!
-
I would have bought a set of the ER's but they had the Rev's onsale so cheap the last time I was there that I didn't. Glad I didn't stop in last week while I was in Madison otherwise I would have spent some money again.

Quite the surround for such limited throw. Sd of, what, 10cm^2? Lol. Made me laugh as well. It looks like a small mid with a monster surround.
