Jeez, a sheep would have been easier why didn't anyone tell me that first go around?

That is a GM feature: ruin your fun but don't help when necessary.

The ride height and stance are perfect.

By hammer, this is the sort of device I am referring to: http://dytran.com/go.cfm/en-us/content/pro...R-5800B2/x?SID= Autohammer: http://www.altasol.com/products/AS-1220/AS-1220.html and of course the vibrometer (actually application note of measuring car body panel vibration with Chrysler): http://www.polytec.com/usa/_files/LM_AN_VI...05_01_PDF_E.pdf

The manufacturers (and subsuppliers) do this test in the same setup they measure transmission loss. Doing a sound power measurement at the same time would be cool. The impact hammer is easy as the vibrometer will trigger an fire the 'autohammer' with an impedance head on the tip, can even do some averaging that way as well. The only difficulty here is consistent boundary conditions when grabbing the sheet metal, really this is my primary concern in the "sheet" consistency. It isn't the easiest thing in the world to get into a near free-free condition and while using a clamping mechanism is fine it has to be repeatable not just in force but in how it affects the target. Obviously a baseline and post deadening scan would be in order for each sample, we can probably post process out the differences but the less you do is better for defending the test on the web.

You really only need one if your title of your thread is true. A single 10 is more than enough. If that is your true goal, perhaps you should start by discussing the part that is going to make it work: your front stage.

I am not a Nova fan either, they were just both next to each other so I posted.
-
I prefer my 19" to my 20.1"
-
Its resting, that isn't driving height.
-
And the top Nova looks terrible

Same car, just suspension, tires and rims. Crazy difference.

Tom, Got a question for you. This is off a 66 Chevelle. All are A's a 3/4 frame like that or do they box any of them?

Remind me to only buy a car down that way. Here floorboards & torque boxes are expected to be gone even in a good one. I'm jealous -
I would love to go ride a sled for a day or two and then come back to this though. What a break that would be. *daydreams

Not my cup of tea, but hope it works it out. -
If you troll why not post?

It has no roof and the speakers rotate inside a pod which was directly facing me when i was standing behind it. Hmm considering my stage changes significantly if you recline my seat standing outside would have a rather major affect I'd say.

did you get this from somewhere? I like that quote I made it up, I work from home
