colorless strawberries? I plead the fifth , I didn't inhale or something like that . That is too bad it doesn't work very well if you only do it partway. Poser.

I don't remember when I used to get excited since it was not easy to get always. Wow, you just dated me to myself.

The Tempest is a post car though isn't it? the 2 cars: Potential good deals, but I don't like the posts.

first things first, the hop needs to be on the first page *now onto catching up

Post an impedance plot of both speakers and look how they vary. Then realize on top of that those are nominal charts and not exact. The response could very well end up being all over the board. It'll basically sounds like worse shit than your system already does. You are breaking every logical car audio "rule" in your installs. It may be "loud" but for the money you are arbitrarily throwing at stuff it could be way louder and actually sound good. You need a separate amp channel for every different type of driver. I would also say it is not so intelligent to run different drivers that are playing the same frequency range. It really won't help your system. You say this is the first you have heard of this, but what about cdtjones or the bafoon with the different JL subs. Everyone watched that. Not only by default are you doing the same thing, you are connecting them to the same amp, and expecting different results or for us not to attack it? *I may have his name wrong but I am sure you know who I mean Don't mean to always be singling you out, but you really should take a step back and look at your real system goals and discuss those before all of the little pieces. Of course, it could be a location thing too as in your area there seem to be a bunch of nutheads that want loud and have no idea how to get there and instead compensate with lots of ill placed drivers.

A single one will do you fine.

Any new 2008 cars your excited about??

Indeed. x3 -
Yes, I'm aware of that, and those facts are weighed in. Please explain.

Now they can get made at me again.

Best sounding alignment if you ask me, as for the SPL question that is pretty subjective as they will be more than loud enough for me but for you I can't answer.
-
That doesn't mean anything. As for your wiring question you should have thought about it before buying the B&C or your amps. All drivers connected to any one channel of an amp without a passive crossover need to be 100% identical otherwise you are going to have all sorts of issues.

True, dangerous unless you really plan it and know your cousin and father well. The ye olde college try is a get out of jail free card as well.
-
You never, ever want to run two different speakers in parallel to the same amp.

Dude, unlike everyone else you get more retarded and not less overtime. Perhaps try to absorb what you read for once and stop listening to other idiots from FL Either way those are nominal values to really be sure as I have told you before you need to measure.

RF punch amps came in

Basically, but of course it would also depend on how much "ear training" that person has had. I leave ear training in quotes so it varies by a lot depending on the individual. Even back to back hearing better than 1dB is pretty much a farce so in a lot of cases that 1.5dB wouldn't be perceived as different either. There is another pyschoacoustic phenomena that occurs as well. Almost always people pick the "louder" option as better, part of the reason I am not keen at all on subjective amplifier or headunit reviews/comparisons. I really don't think all the variables are normally equal. -
what sort of rules are troubling you young grasshopper ok I'm gonna give you guys the low down on what just happened tonight. So my cousin and his wife come home and we all say hi and what not and they walk off(I'm playing guitar hero) my cousin comes in not 2 minutes later and says I need to talk with you. So we talk and we start talking about what happened Monday night over at this house. To save the trouble, we were drinking and some other "things" were involved but I'm very responsible with what I do and have never done anything stupid. Anyways, my cousin says, "well we don't want that kind of stuff in the house." and I say, "well at the beginning before we moved in you guys said it was cool to have stuff over here so I dunno man." Anyways after much debate and me basically saying, "I appreciate you talking to me like this face to face and if there is anything else wrong just let me know but it'll never happen again." here's were things turn for the worst. My dad shows up to my door(I have a door leading to outside from my room) and he says, "your cousin just told me about Monday and I'm telling you right now it better stop right now." My first reaction in the back of my head (I can't believe I just got sold out by my own pucking cousin). We talk for maybe 2 minutes with him going, "we'll talk about this later." At this point I'm over the edge mad, like I've never felt this way about wanting to hurt someone so bad before. I sent him a message via aim(because he locked himself in his room) saying, "You're such a bitch for doing what you just did. Why did you even bother talking to me if you were going to do that? That was so low dude, don't ever ask me for help or anything ever. Matter of fact, don't ever talk to me again." To sum up what was a paragraph. So now I'm basically just trying to get out of this house because I'm betrayed by everyone who lives here and I'm not about to live under a roof that has pucking hypocrites living under it. They drink/smoke pot so I hope karma bites them in the ass someday. I'm sorry for such a long story but it needed to be told. Your cousin is a complete and utter tool. Eff him. When you talk to your dad its time to pull out the I wanted to be like my cousin card and play him back. Blame the fact you were doing it on the fact that they do and wanted to smooth things out and you really thought that would help. If played correctly the tides will turn, but beware you don't go overboard.

Thyanks. Deep fried duck, cheese curds, a bowl of clam chowder and a salad mixed with a 6 pack of beer isn't what I'd call a healthy dinner, but wtf it had duck in it so I'm happy

bracing is in the plan (i have about 6 triangle already cut).. i gotta get the box in the car and put the top and front on first tho.. amp should b here with in 12 hours and amp kit will b here mondayish bumpin by next sunday if im lucky.. work and school gives me very little time to work on my box I am glad it needs a lot of internal support. Personally I would have made the baffle at least another 3/4" to help compensate as well.

Using an 8 with a 5x7 is not a good idea either again in a car the main benefit of using a dedicated midbass is to allow you to use a single driver that can play most of the frequency range while not giving up any midbass. What 5x7's are you using? I'd also make a healthy wager that a single Seas W16nx midrange will completely destroy the midbass output of your 5x7's. Not even in the same ballpark.

luckily unlike with the bibs you don't need earplugs for that
