Then you better be prepared to spend a crap ton of time or money on the install as it will be the big differentiator.
-
Which also proves why this is a useless question: Lets see, I have one retarded ass install with crap gear but have 3 subs. Or my competition is a great sub in a specified box. Yep easy to tell which will sound better, but considering the comparison my bet is the process of building that ported enclosure will make the end result not any better than the RF's. Really the install is so important ignoring that consideration and asking about arbitrary subjective driver installations won't help you. Just buy the damn Mag it is a great driver you will have to wait though... Oh, and Tirefryr never, ever said anything about the HX's sounding better just louder. In that competition the Mag will always sound better.

I am not understanding how their isn't room for the horns in a van of all vehicles.

I am sure you can ghetto something together though. -
Having a front stage that will keep up and then never making it break normal listening levels.

All the BTL specs are posted clearly on their website. As for your amp question that is an easy one, get one that will do the power you need.

Do remember it is all in the install, the box design and the settings. 3/4 is not a valid gain setting, you really need to measure to insure you are doing what you expect. Are you sure you have the coils in parallel as well? I would check to make sure even possible that the terminals are marked wrong, never assume the other way. Before doing anything I would check to see if what you have is right as it surely doesn't sound so.

I'll know more tomorrow. Curious as to the "killer stereo with a sub under the back seat" that the owner claims it has.

This is so cheap I might accidentally buy it.

Pan fried will be fine. I use tilapia in taco's regularly as well.
-
wow, sorry for the delay. It kind of depends on what else you have on hand. First off defrosting in cold running water (no hotter than 70 degrees is a start). I would assume you have no spinach, but Tilapia can be fine on its own. You could sear it in a hot pan in some olive oil and just add salt and pepper if you have nothing ot add to it in your house. Any other possible fresh ingredients? Whatever you do, don't overcook the piss out of it.

What kind of vehicle is it and what alternative tweeter mounting locations were you considering?

How big is your baffle? Home Depot near me sells quarter sheets of mdf for $6

Even at 65% off I am not interested. Curious as to how you manage that discount though. Yep, all 8 ohm thankfully which is a much better option across the board. Don't expect anything to be labeled IB, do remember these are raw drivers. As for the paper cone, not quite sure why it matters whether it is car or home audio. Many components use paper drivers. There are tons of other options as well though that aren't paper, but all of the Scanspeak Revelators are paper.

Holy influx of people that I don't want here. Screw the rank if it means a bunch of tards or turning this place into a crapaudio. Regularly I have to keep myself from being mean...not good.
-
they are raw drivers. not home audio, not car audio, just audio. As for the eDuh'd you obviously never tried v1, nor have you tried to contact customer service with eD. Just frigging crap. Owner is an ass and no-one should EVER do any business with him. To top it off bang for the buck Raamat and Second Skin both work way better.

I have a headache thinking about it. Why would you run MBQ's active in the first place??
-
How much processing do you have available?
-
I don't think the question is really that far off. First the RF's are sealed which is going to take away output, they can't really handle the power they are being given gracefully, and the Mag is a beast. I would completely place my wager on the box build and design. If the RF's are cramped in that box the Mag could easily outwang it. One thing I do know for sure, I would way rather have the Mag in my ride than 3 of those HX's.

Even still it sounds to me like reviewing all of your settings would be logical. Can you outline all of the settings you currently have?

Don't believe the sellers, only the manufacturer. Completely different descriptions. It is not something that can replace batteries and a high output alternator if that is what you are asking;.
