actually it isn't slow on the load time it is from the time I hit the reply button until the screen flashes it is slow. Almost like it has to decide whether to accept the post or not. It didn't do that until a few weeks ago. Once the page starts to come up it is nearly instantaneous, but I do have some bandwidth

but I have weeks that are much higher than that. don't know where to look to find those stats though

Slow down. You do not need a cap, you probably don't need an extra battery, and you surely don't need rear speakers. As for the fronts, a 3 way as a first active implementation is not something I would recommend. Stick with a 2 way first and then decide if you want to up the ante. It takes a lot more tuning experience to make a 3 way sound good. If you do go 3 way I would highly, highly recommend that you switch to the Alpine and do an H701 combo otherwise it will probably end up sounding worse than just buying a set of components.

I was looking at the RS225 8", but it also rolls off a lot on the bottom end? Even by 100Hz it is way down in db. (like 4-5db; as far as mid bass use) The better 8s (like the SLS) seem to peak at 100Hz and are fairly flat above, roll off less below. Some subs peak higher at 100 and roll off higher and lower. Seems like a point to consider if using for range of say roughly 50-80Hz up to 250-500Hz or more? Or do you expect to EQ it out? I was looking at it for my mids but this looks like a problem....then again charts don't always tell the whole story. But if I run subs up to 50, I need the 8s there and ready above that which would mean huge output at the 200-300Hz peak even running 100Hz and up. http://www.partsexpress.com/pdf/295-376g.pdf He is looking for a 2 way...and the SLS pukes above 300hz, perhaps even lower depending on your ears

Sittin' in the mornin' sun I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come Watching the ships roll in And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay Watching the tide roll away Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay Wastin' time I left my home in Georgia Headed for the 'Frisco bay 'Cause I've had nothing to live for And look like nothin's gonna come my way So I'm just gonna sit on the dock of the bay Watching the tide roll away Ooo, I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay Wastin' time Look like nothing's gonna change Everything still remains the same I can't do what ten people tell me to do So I guess I'll remain the same, yes Sittin' here resting my bones And this loneliness won't leave me alone It's two thousand miles I roamed Just to make this dock my home Now, I'm just gonna sit at the dock of the bay Watching the tide roll away Oooo-wee, sittin' on the dock of the bay Wastin' time

It seems like a pretty good deal though? <-- has no idea what real estate is like there, but on water here that house would be $600-700k

what body of water? what don't you like about it?

Or it is also what I drive to the bar when having almost too much. It attracts no attention in comparison to a bright red Bm'er

I was posting while everyone was here. I wasn't here, but in the room. Sort of tuned out. We like it when you post here though Aaron.

Thought the truck was your daily beater. It is, but I am about to fly way more than I drive so it will be relegated to driving to the airport, towing the boat, or towing the sleds. Occasionally driving to an area to camp and of course to fly through the snow.

ha, been bumping the Brandenburg download you linked me to for the past 2 hours Jim. Actually gotten a lot of things done (you can probably tell when since there was a bit of a lull in my posting)

It isn't going to replace the M5, just my truck. I am sick of being plasticized with the GM crap. Chit breaks on the damn thing every week. They are really cutting corners, but I guess if you are that upside down with your employee pay you have to be. With health insurance and supporting pensions GM spends more than $25 more per hour on their employees than Honda or any of the other imports being made here in the US. They have cut quality so damn far to stay competitive it is fucking retarded. If they cut back on their add budget by about 25%, there would be money for a substantial increase in quality. I don't think it would make that much difference. Especially when you consider how many fewer cars they would sell. They have to fix their operating cost issues first. Then scrap all of the stupid brands. Toyota has two, perhaps GM should follow suit. One small car, one midsize....
