Even still, you really should run that guy ported. If you have to run sealed, I'd surely sell it and buy something else.

You don't need rears and perhaps should look at subs other than those Kickers. What exactly are your expectations and total budget?

Did it up last night pimp style. Had to celebrate since I do have a signed purchase agreement on the house. There are some things that make me feel like it could fall apart, but at least we will know within 15 days. Otherwise come Dec 2 I have no place to live (or work for that matter).

I didn't like the sound of it too much though. It's too laid back for my taste in music. http://www.zzounds.com/item--FEN0109200800 I have an I have the first version of this model when it first came out. Mine is referred to as the srv texas special. Has the first go round of the texas special pick ups that are extremely hot. Has that biting crunchy sound that texas blues is known for. And mine doesn't have the SRV on the pickgaurd. I don't like the necks on Fenders, much prefer the metal style guitars for playing or the complete opposite in a plectrum. Probably since I have an old school Ibanez roadstar and a Gibson L4.

Cocoa milk? wtf Chocolate milk....doesn't translate the same as in Europe it is probably made from Dutch Cocoa instead of some stupid crap syrup that is mostly sugar that we use.

Fuck that. They just need to up their displacements accordingly with GM. It's big, it's heavy, it isn't super efficient, and it's super expensive to manufacture. The other problem is they just didn't keep to plans very well in the whole "mod" portion of it. Technologically it smokes the LS and Hemi's but nothing about it makes it easy to swap into another vehicle. Personally I think pushrods are a joke. It is big, compared to iron blocked-engines it's not heavy at all. Hell, the only real "heavy" mod motors are the DOHC engines, but of course, they have more material. Nothing is super-efficient from the factory, and I don't know how you consider 281 cubic inches pushing 300+HP and 300lb.FT. on pump gas and getting economy in the mid 20s not efficient. Contrary to what you may thing, Ford's modular engine family is the cheapest OHC engine family currently being produced. It's very easy to swap into other vehicles, but it's not a small-block chevy. Dammit, my battery is dying. It is way bigger than a 460 though and heavier. I know we had this conversation before, but everywhere I look has those things outweighing an old BBF. And they are so wide that retrofitting them into any old car with shock mounts isn't easy. As for the efficiency problem what I don't understand is why my crap Chevy gets 18.5mpg with more power than my buddies Ford who gets 15mpg. I also read that the build costs are more than the BM'er V8's which is nuts. I do believe the answer is modular as well as OHC but I think it needs a little reworking to get there. Personally I'd like to see it in rpm's and breathing and not cubes, but would love it if they did something.

Not quite, but only since the h/u isn't actually putting all that much out on the channel. I had to tick it off min to blend it barely.

Not that much, gains are near minimum and its eq'd down. It can take WAY more than I give it. I have friends who only think things are good if they are bassy and even cranking my eq and sub output doesn't make it come close to sweating. Makes the system unbalanced and bother me, but puts smiles on their face.
