I'm from the old school of don't do things half-assed as doing them a second time is the biggest waste of time possible.

Amplifier run below impedance question
///M5 replied to SpeakerBoy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The only clarification I'd add Shannon is that those are ideas are not exclusive so using the word "follow" I don't agree with...but I know you don't either and just typed it that way. It is a MUST to have a reasonable enclosure design no matter the cone area. -
Just an exercise to teach myself complex chord thinking. Brutally hard with non-simple music so you start with what is simple. Christmas tunes are retardedly simple. When you hear the chord changes I use you won't recognize the song anyways as none of the chords are anywhere near the same. Take the melody away and you'd have no idea.
-
Be even better to write them in such a way that I can play the melody and the accompaniment at the same time....but I work for a living. Some day I'll be able to do that quicker!
-
So yeah, vocal based music....for which I use a guitar to "sing".
-
Even more amusingly, I've been recomposing Christmas songs. Playing a game with myself to see how many half step transitions I can make in chords and change chords WAY more often than originally while keeping the same melody. My goal isn't the composition, but the brain tease and learning of notes and expanded chords in the process.

Amplifier run below impedance question

Perfect implementations?..never. Exactly why it is idiotic to play the impedance curve game and wire low. (I realize you didn't do this on purpose.) Competition wise it isn't as nasty since the situation is normally reduced to a frequency with it's associated impedance allowing some optimization of the current & voltage to fit within the amps capability. This does assume the operator is competent. -
I knew it, shit!

How do you pick a section title that is: Test 1, 2, 3... Follow 0 For testing avatar's, pictures, and sig's. ...and not read it?
-
Amusing I suppose since I took 5 year's of voice lessons and sang in choirs and bands through college

90% of what I listen to has no words. The 10% I know zero of the lyrics for. Fucking to lyrics is really strange to me.

4x the current at the same voltage. Hope your amp has both a current limit shut down as well as thermal. Or more logically rewire that shit pronto -
Reading comprehension fail....again
-
I also have a tendency to completely ignore vocalists for above reasons. Even great voices are boring to me...but if they have a great band I will listen all day
-
My problem is the same with other pop. No matter how catchy anything is if I can play it easily I get bored

Who is banks?

So you didn't A/B...what a surprise. You should once, it will be a monstrous revelation for you.
-
Highly impressed by the sound of an amp? We are all interested in your A/B setup for this and what you heard.

If they made a 4 door I'd buy one. If that 4 door was given a Lincoln interior ala the old Mark during it's time then I'm all in. Regrettably that ain't gonna happen and I am too damn tall to have rear passengers in it.

And in the end, the stang wins
