Nope, lower than that. I meant what I said, enclosure dependent.

You'd hate my yard then. Although it looks we are done with that for the year. Got our first snow

Now that would be interesting It was loud... Obviously not my cup of tea, but the output was definitely impressive. The back massage was as well. Sort of funny, the Kicker tweets tried to keep up but it was them and the subs...pretty much sounded like ass from a musical standpoint but not because of the subs just the way they were "blended" with teh system. In this case blended is a far too general term, but nonetheless they weren't the fart cannons I would have expected in that install. They played notes and when turned down were musical although hard to judge when rather overpowering. I didn't make Mark play them for me that long since, well, I really didn't care to hear his system anymore. I do plan on having Aaron send me one at some point, but I am not sure what size yet

All enclosure dependent, but pretty much as low as any other car woofer you have ever seen.

Sounds like 4th of July at the grandparents Funny. Actual a reference in that the only pic I had seen of Tom (and remembered) he had that Koda on his head and the only pic he had seen of me was holding a pig that was sliced in half that I was in the middle of butchering.

Goodnight Kent...perhaps my last post will keep you up yet again

Towards the end of it. In Rochester, the mod for Lateral-G lives in Rochester so there should be quite the gathering of ultra cool cars. In my estimation I would bet it will be the coolest stop on the tour. For reference, here are some of the cars that make their home on Lateral-g...get ready to drool: http://www.lateral-g.net/members/

I was going to use those in my next install, but I had a much better idea. These will be used. Perhaps I will have a pair by then: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/PDF/auras...NS10-513-4A.pdf

I had a pig, but all of it ended up in my septic in at least a slightly digested state.

Shit, if I can plan that far ahead...

I thought you were pretty much guaranteed to follow the tour Tom.

Depending on how much time we have, perhaps my buddies 69 Firebird might be ripe for an install that week as well. I also have an IXL 12 proto

My collection of tweets isn't quite as extensive: RS28 Seas 27tf Scan speak D2904/6000 Vifa XT 19 I will probably have at least one more pair by then as well, as I am in love with the HDS's and "need" a set. If I have any free cash perhaps a Behringer will be there as well. Damn, this might get expensive I might have to put you all to work.

My collection of 8's is not so significant though, it consists of only the Rli.
-
I have that list of 7's already, but haven't listened to them all back to back to back in a fair way yet.
-
What 8's would you propose?
-
http://www.hotrod.com/powertour/index.html Tom is driving it and it comes through MN, so we talked about having a meet at my house. I thought you said you were coming...I just added the driver test idea "out loud" tonight.

Great combo, that is for sure!

Any new 2008 cars your excited about??
///M5 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Automotive and Performance
but it is just that, an exception to the rule. even in the 60's, it took the cobras, the cobra daytonas and the gt40 to beat the corvette. everything else just doesn't measure up. and as helo pointed out, teh vette is easily a world beater when price, performance, availability and ease of service is all factored in. no, it doesn't have ferrari's handbuilt excellence or finess, but it takes a ferrari costing twice as much or more to beat it. oh and with teh new mandate of 155mph top speed (IIRC), it's kinda pointless. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee To carry the same argument I could have said of course you can buy two Mustang GT's for the price of the Vette or modify one to beat it. The bottom line is it is about market segmentation, Ford could care less about the Vette and perhaps GM should learn from them. If the General can make it another 5 years without filing chapter 11 I will be very surprised. Their whole goal of cutting costs to sell more cars to try and support their infrastructure is killing them and they aren't learning. Ford on the other hand is changing to fit the times, even JD Power realizes this as they rated Ford's reliability higher than any other company in the most market segments. GM didn't even come close to any. Their actions and designs are going to kill them as a company. At the moment they are the downfall of the Detroit economy as well as they are so big their actions effect everything else in town and believe me being a supplier to them it is ugly as hell at the moment.
