Sort of funny, the Kicker tweets tried to keep up but it was them and the subs...pretty much sounded like ass from a musical standpoint but not because of the subs just the way they were "blended" with teh system. In this case blended is a far too general term, but nonetheless they weren't the fart cannons I would have expected in that install. They played notes and when turned down were musical although hard to judge when rather overpowering. I didn't make Mark play them for me that long since, well, I really didn't care to hear his system anymore. I do plan on having Aaron send me one at some point, but I am not sure what size yet

My collection of 8's is not so significant though, it consists of only the Rli.

I have that list of 7's already, but haven't listened to them all back to back to back in a fair way yet.

but it is just that, an exception to the rule. even in the 60's, it took the cobras, the cobra daytonas and the gt40 to beat the corvette. everything else just doesn't measure up. and as helo pointed out, teh vette is easily a world beater when price, performance, availability and ease of service is all factored in. no, it doesn't have ferrari's handbuilt excellence or finess, but it takes a ferrari costing twice as much or more to beat it. oh and with teh new mandate of 155mph top speed (IIRC), it's kinda pointless. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee To carry the same argument I could have said of course you can buy two Mustang GT's for the price of the Vette or modify one to beat it. The bottom line is it is about market segmentation, Ford could care less about the Vette and perhaps GM should learn from them. If the General can make it another 5 years without filing chapter 11 I will be very surprised. Their whole goal of cutting costs to sell more cars to try and support their infrastructure is killing them and they aren't learning. Ford on the other hand is changing to fit the times, even JD Power realizes this as they rated Ford's reliability higher than any other company in the most market segments. GM didn't even come close to any. Their actions and designs are going to kill them as a company. At the moment they are the downfall of the Detroit economy as well as they are so big their actions effect everything else in town and believe me being a supplier to them it is ugly as hell at the moment.
